If by the great keyblade you mean the Ultima then you have get the recipe in from a chest in twilight town when you visit there as Sora. It will be in the the room right before the large white room that Sora was originally asleep in. Then you have to collect all the materials including the rare orichalcum+.

Ultima is the best but it's better if you have fenir as one of your forms keyblade
