Why don't some of my AR Max work?

I keep on putting on the Infinite Health cheat, the Infinite Armor cheat, and all of the Infinite weapon cheats. When I launch the game with them and a few other cheats, all the other cheats except the infinite cheats work. I don't know why, I need someone to PLEASE TELL ME WHY. PLEASE....??????

ANSWERS

This happens when you have saves on your memory card that was started before you used action replay max. What you have to do is this: use a memory without any gta 3 saves on it. Start a new game using some ar max
Codes, save. Now all of the codes will work on that save file.
