How can I go out side from school campus

The main gates to the school we be closed until you beat Russell. That is in chapter 1. The gate will then always be open for you to run free until you die.

You cannot get outside the school campus until chapter 2, at the start of chapter 2 the gates at the front of the school will open and you will be free to roam the rest of the town.
