When you start off in the game of metal gear solid 2 and you receive a camera.
Take pictures of funny and obscured things...such as the pictures inside all of the lockers and some sleeping guards and maybe some guards in their underwear.
Then go to the second part of the tanker where you see a broadcast of the commander or chief of the military on a overhead screen. Locate the overheads/projectors in the back of the room and make sure not to get to close to them. Then press x by them. If you are close enough in range or have enough pictures it will flip over to show some pretty funny things on the overhead board. And all the guards will turn to watch the other screen.

P.s make sure to get the heck out of the way when you do so... Guards will come to check the area.

Only attempt this when you have infinite ammo wig, and bandana and stealth and the other 2 wigs orange and blue

Go through tanker with stealth until olga comes along. 2 bullet can kill you always aim for the head okay, when your going into the holds and million guads come in it gets a bit tricky don't let them throw granades

In plant it is smooth sailing until fortune. She shots 2 rail gun blasts at the same time. Two should kill you. Hide inside your box and move left to right. Even sometimes the rail gun blasts glitch up and go through you it happened to me 40 times. Fatman is suprisingly easy in E-Extreme. The bombs are annoying but hes weak. NOW the harrier jet will take you a good 2 hour practise run until you can beat him. One rocket can kill you and 2 vulcan cannon bullets can kill you. When he says I will shred you to pieces thats when he uses the vulcan cannon. Hide in the box and behind the big steel pylon in the bottom floor. Now when it goes side on view and he shots rockets at you he shots 50 of them (i have counted) this is basically impossible and the only thing that can help you in a glitch. Vamp takes a while to one slash can kill you and 2 throwing knifes can kill you. Use the stinger missile for good hits. Vamp 2 when hes killing emma is easy 12 bullets should kill him. Now when your naked you have no stealth so be careful and follow a route with stupid guards. When you have learnt the skills of the blade don't use it use the M4 and wear body armor don't worry about ammo snake has infinite. When you in the circle area it is impossible to die seriously it's to easy use the HF blade for this. Now for the 25 metal gear rays this is the one which should take you a week of planning and loss of eyesight to finish. The knee rockets kill you instantly, the bullets from there hands kill you in 2 and the rockets on there back and the mouth laser kills you in one it oh and also te stomping kills you in one hit. When your getting choked before the solidus battle use a turbo controller and hold the triangle button it's impossible to press triangle 40 times a second. Now solidus is easy use non leathal blade becuase kicking is requied for this battle to distract him. Also use the guard button with the blade and you will be fine

You have now completed E-Extreme... You get absoloutly nothing except glory

On the Tanker mission, when you are in Hold 2, look at the projection screen on the right when it has the video projecting on it and take a photo with the Camera. When you do this the game directors face (Hideo Kojima) will appear on the screen.

Note: This will not work if you use the Digital Camera.

All You Have To Do To Do This Is Simple

Kill Him Using Lethal("Red" Sharp Side Of The Blade) Methods As Each Attack Is Worth More Damage Than Non-Lethal("Blue" Back Side Of The Blade) Methods

At First, Solidus Won't Fire His Electro-Powered Missiles (He Will Only Do This When He Has Lost About 1/6th Of His Health) And When He Does, Flip-Attack Straight To Him (You Don't Need To Hit Him) And His Missiles Will Be Useless (And He Will Stop At 2 If You Get There Fast Enough) You Can Evade His Attacks By Using The Flip Attack (Running, X) And It's Also Useful When You're On Fire. It Can Also Be Used To Knock Solidus Off His Feet.

The Best Combos Are Horizontal Slice (Right Analogue Stick Right) Horizontal Slice (Right Analogue Stick Left) Lunge (Press Right Analogue Stick In)

When You Have Got Him Down To Half-Life He Will Eject His "Extra Arms" And Begin To Attack You With High-Speed Charges And Faster Swipes With His 2 Swords. When He Charges At You, Face Where He's Coming From And Flip-Attack Him, This Will Knock Him Down And He Will Be Unable To Attack You. If You Get Set On Fire Flip To The Edge And Jump Off (But Press Triangle To Climb Back Up Straight Away) This Delays Your Health And You Don't Lose As Much!

Remember That Nearly All Of His Attacks Can Be Blocked With L1 (His Sword Strikes,His Outstretched "Tenticle Arms" And His Kicks) The Ones That Can't Be Blocked Are: The Low Swipes (Where He Tries To Trip You Up) The High-Speed Charge (After He Loses Half His Health) And When He Jumps Off The Building At The Side Of The Battle-Ground.

Do this in deck 2 port, after shooting the semtex control boxes, run up the corridor until you see a guard, hide in the opening to the right until the guard gets close, then press L2 to peek around the corner, there is a metal bar on the wall next to you that will fall and make noise, causing the guard to investigate [dont worry, he wont see you if you keep your back against the wall]. During this time, another guard will walk down the hall, startling the other guard and causing them to look at each other [if you are trying to get dog tags you can pull off a double freeze [ONLY WITH THE M9]because the usp light will draw attention. From there, obtain their tags and tranquilize/kill them and your on your way.

When you are Snake, you have a camera, take pictures of all the posters on those lockers that you see, like girls, or that picture where it shows a guy with no T-shirt on. At the end when you have to send pictures of the Metal Gear, send those other pictures instead! You will get some weird emotions from Otacon.

When you get to the part where your mission is to find Ames, go to the B2 floor of the shell 1 core. After grabbing the Directional Microphone, go to the right of that room where there are 4 lockers. If you look in First Person View, you will see a Book on top of it. Punch at the locker it is on top of. After Raiden performs his spinning kick, 5 Books will fall to the floor. Grab them all, and head to B1. Watch the Guard's path. Find an open spot that he goes to, that also has no hostages nearby (such as in between the tables, or by the counter), and put one book down. He will stop and look at it, giving you a few minutes that you can use to find Ames. After a bit, the book disappears, and you can just put another one down for him. This also helps, because he won’t hear it if you ask the wrong hostage and they make noise.

Dog Tags:

1.To get a dog tag, go up to a sentry from behind or out of it's view.
2.Take out your gun, and you will Snake/Raiden say "freeze".
3. Run to his front, and go into first person view.
4. Point your gun to his head or lower abdomen.
5. He will shake and his Dog Tag will come out.
6. But Sometimes he doesn't yield. Then shoot hin in the foot or hand (if yo use a stinger missile or grenade launcher, all of them will yield with no problem).

After defeating Olga, walk up to her and call Otacon to get a message that she looks like an angel.

After defeating Olga, walk up, and in first person view, shoot her in the head with the M9. Otacon will call saying he cannot believe you.

When on the Plant mission, after getting the Socom, go to the roof of strut A. Use your M9 to put the birds to sleep when they land, then shoot them with the Socom. After killing enough birds, you will get a call asking if you are done being mean to the birds.

Look at the bugs in the Plant mission and call the Colonel (140.85) to get an explanation of why they are there.

Keep calling people on the Codec to get more story elements. Keep calling until they give you control tips, or repeat themselves a few times. This works at a number of times in the game -- try it after every major plot point.

When you are in the B1 level of the Shell 1 Core (the room where the hostages are being kept), try to do a flip to knock out at least three of the hostages. After a while you will receive a call from your CO and Rose saying what a mean person you are for harming those poor defenseless hostages.

Immediately after you first meet Pliskin, stay in the room where he is sleeping on the stairs and call him on the Codec (141.80). He will be asleep and Raiden will watch him. Call a few more times to hear him dreaming about Meryl and Liquid Snake

First you have to beat the game in any of the difficulties. Then go to new game and select extreme as the difficulty. When you are in the plant chapter you have to look for four Easter Island statues. They look like brown stones that resemble a flat face. You then have to shoot them in the head with the socom. After you shoot all four you playas snake for the rest of the game.

The statues are located in the computer room of Shell 1, one is in the vents where you shoot the nikita to destroy the control panel (you have to look for it, it is hidden in one of the other paths. You can destroy the grills on the vents with 3/4 sitgers). There is one in the flooded area of shell 2(when you get in the water it should be to the hallway right in front of you and it will be in a box like the ones for ammo. You have to get out of the water when you get it and go to the items menu and select it. Raiden will set it on the ground and then you shoot it.) The last one is on top of the lockers where you find Emma. Once you shoot it you should become snake.

Right ok to do this hold a soldier up from behind, then shoot their radio, then shoot their right or left leg and lastly shoot their right arm. Now knock them out and when they wake up they won't be able to run, fire their AKS-74U or AN94 and they won't be able to call for backup so you can do what you want with them.

(To do this you will need stealth)On the tanker in the holds 1,2,3 equip stealth and go to the corner of where the marines are standing, do a punch,punch, kick on the corner marine if you are skilled it will knock over two more marines and then those two will knock over four etc. (if you knock ove rmost of the marines your game might go slow for a minute but don't worry it's just trying to cope with all the question marks above their head)

Go behind a guard and hold him up with your gun (not a tranquiliser or a one shot kill gun e.g. Nikita, stinger, RGB6 ), then while behind him shoot his radio, then shoot his LEFT leg, then shoot his RIGHT arm. Then take your gun off and make sure he sees you.

If you do this successfully he will have an exclamation mark above his head, he will then try to contact back-up but you broke his radio, he will put his radio back and attempt to shoot you but if you shot him in the RIGHT arm he will not be able to, then he will limp to another area to find a guard... Now do whatever you wish haha it's amazing try it...

To easily kill vamp in the filtration chamber use stinger missiles. When the fight starts and hes bowing, GET HIM THEM!! Easy hit the when he jumps out after swimming hit him then as well.

Th kill vamp fater with the sniper rifle, get his head, you can kill him in about 3 shots this way.

When you're in shell 1 b2 when the terrorist goes up to the computer in the room knock him out look on the screen and he'll have opened up the FHM webpage

Once you've defeated Olga in Tanker Mode, you'll need to have a stun granade. So thro it then go your right.Then you'll see this dude on the door stuck, BUT
You won't be able to get his dog tag.

On the tanker, go into the room with the lockers. Then open the locker with the girl in the black bikini. Lean against the wall and tap on it but make sure the taps reaching acrossed his chest. It will make a,"BOING" sound. Not useful but somewhat funny.

Ok if fatman has planted bombs he should be watching you defuse them so before you finish defusing the bombs run towards him and bress X he will do a running kickflip and it will knock fatman down or just punch and kick him then when he starts to get up shoot him in the head for some more damage.

If you shoot a fire thingy or flour and you walk through it or if snake says ahhh that means that he is going to snease , so even if you have stealth on and your close enough to a soldier he will hear it and come looking for you , so keep your distance from the fire thingy and flour when shooting to see if there is red beams , and he could snease when ever.

To get more Dog Tags, when you hold a gun up to a soldier, if he says "are you going to shoot me "shoot him in the hand to make him shake.

PS. You can't use the M9, PSG1T, RGB6, Nikita, or the Stinger Missile.

When you are playing on the tanker level ,especially on the extreme level, finding rations could be a difficult task. So if you need rations go to Deck A, crew's lounge and on the left side (the side that has a locked door) come down the stairs and you are going to see a sleeping guard.

There is 2 ways of aquiring the unlimited rations from the guard. One is to kill him or sleep him and then lift him up and drop him until he gives you all the rations you need.Keep in mind after killing him he will reappear. The other way is to freeze him and then make him drop all the rations by "shaking budy". Any way you are gona have to either sleep him or kill him if you don't want to be discovered or hunted.

Can only be used in conjunction with AR MAX. Activate infinite C4 and max ammo for SOCOM (on plant level) and make R2 switch between items. Activate stealth as well. Now the fun part! Use the C4 to eliminate anyone. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER WEAPONS APART FROM THE STINGER, NIKITA, AND AKS-74u they are for the game. Use the SoCOM to kill bosses and raid partys if you must.

You know that thing that fortune and occelot have that makes it so you can't get hit? Welllll....

5:Olga difficulty:easy/normal first lean against some boxes and press x and you'll duck.

Now jump out and shoot the light and on the right there's a brick shoot that to get rid of the tarp now whenever she's on the go aim and SHOOT!

6:tanker guards difficulty:hard/uber normal lean against the box press x now just jump out and SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT!

Keep doing this it's quite hard and ther's some stuff at the back of the corridor...

Note: one of the guards allways chucks grenades he's prety{sorry about spelling} well concealed too

These hints won't help much in completing the game but the are funny:

When you get called on the radio while the colonel or who-ever is talking to you press the L or R buttons seperatly to hear Raiden speak out of turn.

When on the shell plant go onto the roof of strut A and go into first person mode, look directly up and after a while the seagull's will start taking dumps on you.

The dreaded birdcrap strikes again, run into the white patches on the floor of the roof and Raiden will slip over.

Now for revenge on those pesky birds!!! when they land on the fencing you can either shoot them or if your fast enough you can punch them if you keep on doing this Rose will contact you and tell you to stop being cruel!!!

When in the bathrooms of the shell plant go to a mirror and get out your camera look into the mirror take a picture and now you will have a nice picture of Raiden!!!

Another thing to do in the Bathrooms is to go up to a urinal, go into first person mode look into the urinal and make contact with the colonel for amusing results.....

When you have taken an Enemy Sentrie out, hold the square button when standing behind an enemy to hold them.

Drag them far enough and they will drop an item like ammo or ration.

Doing this a couple of times will get you some useful stuff.

Collect 46 Dog Tags to get the Bandana

Collect 68 Dog Tags to get Stealth

In hold 2,stand next to the projector and press triangle.If you do this enough,a video of a japanese girl will come on.Keep pressing and two more will come on at the same time! trust me it works!

This isnt really a helping tip but fun anyway, there are 7 easter island statues situated in mgs2 i can only find 4 though:



1. on the rail of strut d in the middle bit.

2. under the south west table in the computer room

3. fire a nikita in the vent but smash some grills and eventually you will find it

4. on extreme in the locker room where emma is hiding in the cupboard on the wall



If you find more, send it in....!

SNAKE

Olga

Difficulty: moderate

Location: navigational deck-wing

at the start shoot the canopy off by aiming at the string holding it on at the bottom, then shoot the spot light. shoot her once, and when she is walking away crawl to another bit of the place out of sight and shoot her again, repeat this and you will win easily.



Get into the holds

Difficulty: easy

Location: entrance to the holds

equip the thermal goggles straight away and run forwards as far as you can and hide behind the box. pop out and shoot like crazy, you should have loads of ammo, when they shoot out the lights you can still see them cos you have the thermal goggles, shoot them all and dont worry about losing ammo because you wont need any more after that fight.



RAIDEN

Fortune

Difficulty: very easy

Location: bottom of strut A

this is, i think, the most pointless boss fight in the whole game. anyway equip a box so you can run while crawling. do not shoot her, she cant be hurt it is a waste of ammo. just run across the back side of the room until she stops.



Fatman

Difficulty: easy

Location: heliport strut E

equip sensor A and defuse the bombs. shoot him loads until he falls then while he is down shoot him the head. punch-kick him down aswell then shoot him in the head.



Harrier

Difficulty: hard

Location: shell 1-2 connecting bridge

equip the stinger and shoot it to start with until he shouts "Aaagh!" and fires huge bombs at you, when he does this run down the steps and stay close to the middle and you wont get hurt. after this he will say "you're tougher than i thought, i'll let you go out in style" look at the radar and hide behind the crate on the opposite side of the harrier and again you wont get hurt. then go back upstairs and start shooting again. he will then say "try dodging this" and he will fire loads of missiles at you, but they are very slow and just keep shooting and you will defeat him.



Vamp

Difficulty: hard

Location: filter chamber 2

when he bows shoot him with the M9, yes, the M9. when he is swimming shoot him with the M9. when he dives out and walks towards you punch-punch-kick him. repeat this process until he goes on the balcony. run around in the shadows (left and right of the room) and shoot him with the M9 when you get the chance.



Vamp 2

Difficuly: incredibly easy

Location: oil fence

the gun should already be aimed at him and then just tap the shoot button and he dies (you might hit emma but it is ok) oh and when doing the whole sniper mission be on your belly to minimize shakiness.



Dash to arsenal gear

Difficuly: moderate

Location: jejunum(?)

this is when you meet with snake and need to shoot your way to arsenal gear. equip a machine gun and run forwards and hide behind a crate. use jump out shot to kill these guards and gradually make you way to the end of the room.



Dash to arsenal gear 2

Difficulty: moderate

Location: sigmoid colon

this is when you are in the hexagonal room and loads of guards come. equip the OTHER machine gun you didnt use for the first bit and shoot like crazy. if you want you can use the sword but this is risky as snake will suffer alot of damage if you do.



Mass produced Rays

Difficulty: very hard

Location: i dont know where but i think it is on top of arsenal gear.

this is the hardest boss in the game and damn frustating aswell. but if you are on very easy mode this is easy. start by shooting one of the rays in the knee with the stinger, it will fall and open its mouth, quickly shoot the open mouth to inflict max damage, repeat this process with all rays. this will take a long time and there are set numbers of rays in each difficulty setting:

very easy: 3 (but only require one open mouth shot)

easy: 3

normal: 6

hard: 10

extreme: 20(!)



Solidus

Difficulty: hard

Location: federal hall

well this is the last boss so here goes, start by hacking away at him and dodging his attacks. after a while he will say "good work Jack, but this is where it gets interesting" he rips off his tentacles and starts to run around leaving fire. dont run in the fire, he will hit you but just get up and hack away. dodge his fire-runs and kill him.

Undercover...
Don't rush through areas where there loads of cameras and guards.

You should take your time and figure out the best way past them. You are a lot less likely to be seen this way.

Quicker Sleep:

As you know, there is a tranqulizer gun
that drop down the enemies unconscious
without killing them.

So, if you like the shot will take effect quicker, you may aim the gun right to the head,neck or the chest but if you will aim to the other body parts the effect will apear much longer (like 10 seconds or so)

freeze!!!

If you succeed to surprise an enemy soldier from a very close range and aim your gun up to his body he will drop his weapon, raise his hands when all his body is shaking with fear and will surrender! the next move is up to you...

Hold up:

When U hold up a soldier by pointing the hand gun to his head quietly move away from the guard and he will stay there thinking Ur still in his back pointing at him.

(U choose what to do with him) shoot his radio behind him because if U do it wrong he won't call the other soldiers.

In the demo that you get with Z.O.E. you have probably noticed some of the doors are locked for the demo but have no fear because you can get through them! How? EASY! ... This cheat will require some skill and patience. First of all put the difficulty level on hard (or very hard) and radar always off. Now you have to kill all, yes ALL, the guards on the outside decks first with your choking method. Once this is done head in the watertight door that leads to the lockers with the posters. Open the locker with the girl in a bikini and press up against it. Tap her pants part of the poster and guards should be alerted to the locker room.

Just as they are about to leave shoot them both on the head with your M9. Go up the next corridor and make the guard freeze. Make him shake and get BOTH items from him(this is very important!)
In the room with the glass you can shatter alert the gaurd by shooting the glass until it shatters.

Now shoot the confused guard in the HEAD and let the other guard kick him to wake him up. Do the same with the guard that kicked the other one but instead of letting him kick him you choke him. It should be one dead guard and one sleepy guard. Now this is the most important part. Go to the left from the shattered glass room and down the stairs.

MAKE THIS GUARD FREEZE AND SHOOT HIS RADIO. WALK IN FRONT OF HIM WITHOUT A GUN AND HE SHOULD TRY AND CALL FOR BACK-UP ON HIS RADIO, BUT HE CAN'T. PUNCH,PUNCH,SPIN-KICK HIM UNTIL HE IS OUT FOR THE COUNT. WHEN HE GETS BACK UP YOU SHOULD HEAR SOME ONE SAYING IN JAPANESE SOMETHING LIKE "Grab him!" GET HIM IN A CHOKE HOLD AND BRING HIM AROUND TO THE LOCKED DOORS.

You should now be able to get through them! I guess it is a glitch in the game because the guard never wriggles and tries to get free but instead you keep hearing voices from the radio. Some one please try this because it took me ages to figure out this cheat and my friends wouldn't believe me about this. Thank-you and HAPPY GAMING!

Reduce chance of being seen:
When guards and cameras are in your way, take your time and do not rush. Taking your time and thinking of all the ways of bypassing them is the best way of getting past the guard or camera.

Attract and destroy enemies without being near them:
Attract enemies by stepping on things that make loud noises. They will investigate the noise. Note: Enemies have to be near your position to hear the noise. You can also knock on walls to lure enemies. Place C4 on the surface where the enemy will be coming from before he or she arrives. Hide, and when the enemy gets near the C4, blow it up.

Defeating enemies:
When faced with a single enemy, quickly go for his/or her radio or arm.

Enemies run away:
If you have been spotted, also try taking out your biggest gun. At times, your enemies may get scared and run.

No reinforcements:
If you have been found, equip a small weapon and shoot
their codec so no reinforcements can be called.

When guards and cameras are in your way, take your time and do not rush. Taking your time and thinking of all the ways of bypassing them is the best way of getting past the guard or camera.

Using pipes:
When you see a guard next to a pipe ( which may be hot) shoot where you want the steam to hit your enemy. If the steam hits his leg, he will start to limp. If the steam hits his arm, he will be unable to use his gun or weapon. If the steam hits his radio he will be unable to call for back up.

When on board ship, you'll come to a hallway where there are three sets of lasers. Take your scope, or use your camera if you don't have the scope, and look near the explosice charges that are set up in this hallway. Aim at the little dark green boxes, fire!!.. and the lasers go down one at a tine. You have to take out three green boxes to get all three lasers down!

Have you wandered where the first dog-tag for the plant chapter is located? Well if you trank Snake in Arsenal Gear, after the cut sequence of the cypher spotting you, you will get a dog-tag. You have to shake him like you do Olga on the ship. On very easy, you get Iroqouise Plisken. On easy, you Meryl Silverberg. Thats as far as I got.Do this before you engage the enemy, then wake him with the coolant spray.

Beat the "Tanker Chapter" and collect 30 dog tags. Look into your items and you should find "Solid Snake's Bandana"
put it on and you will have infinite ammo. Note:If you get shot the bandana will dissapear and you will have to put it on again. You will also have to reload.
