I'm attempting to beat Edea for the fifth time at Galbadia Garden (Yes I'm that bad) would anyone happen to know what her average health is as she is about level 17ish? Cheers!

Ok, I don't know what to post, but her(Edea)average health should be less than 10000, but more than 5000.
Hope that helps, and if you want to win edea Make sure you stock demis and you must have diablos if you want your battle to be easier, and if you don't make sure you keep attacking her with both GF and magics. Ultima helps too, and so does demi.

It's hard to say how much see has exactly since the amount of HP she has depends on your level but she would usually have over 10,000 at that point. If your having trouble cast reflect on all your characters or at least shell since she mainly uses magic, if she uses maelstrom heal straight away and use a remedy to get rid of curse since it stops you from using limit breaks and use your own GF's, don't forget to draw Alexander from her.

Oh yeah, I know how hard that battle was. Remember that there is a save point that you can use right before you fight her, so be sure to use it. I would think that as one of the most important boss fights in the game, she would easily have over 5,000, or 6,000 health. When you fight her it might be a good idea to just stick with the strategy of attacking her with your Guardian Forces. Otherwise the battle might take a very long time. Also, make sure that you keep your people healed often, her maelstrom attack will do a lot of damage. Also use the 'draw' option on her because she has the Guardian Force named Alexzander. Hope this helps.
