Final Fantasy IX Questions

I have been stuck on this for ages

<BR>1) How do you find Ozma?
<BR>2) Where is the chocograph that is "small island"?

I will try and answer the 1st question as best as I can, but I don't know the answer to the second question.

Anyway, first off you need a gold chocobo/ choccobo (whatever ,lol) then find the shadow that is on the floor somewhere (just fly around and you will aventually see it on the ground or sea somewhere) then use a dead pepper, and you will fly into the air, you are now in the 'Chocobo Air Garden', whilst here you can also collect the remaining chocographs in choco hot and cold, but play around in the area and eventually you will find ozma, (but before you go and battle him, make sure none of your characters are at a level 5 multiple otherwise it will make it harder for you to beat him )

OZMA:
HP: 70,000
Carried items: ( that i know of ) robe of lords, dark matter, pumice, elixir
You get a dark matter and the pumice piece after u win, ull have to steal the others

Main attacks: flare, flare star, meteor, doomsday, death, level 5 death, curse, berserk, mini

Firstly, I'll go through his attacks:

Flare will hit one person for big damage, flare star will hit all the team for medium damage, so use shomething like auto regen to counter that.

Meteor is his best attack and will hit the team for a huge amount of damage so beware of this move, because you cant protect yourself against it (at all), but use auto-life to deal with it as best you can.

Doomsday works differently on some characters: steiner will absorb it, it misses any one who is tranced but usually hits everyone else for around 6,000 hp.

Death has a 50/50 chance of success, level 5 death will miss everytime if you folloed the advice at the beggining.

Curse will be a big problem, it will hit your team for about 2,000 hp and will also cause mini, confuse, blind and poison.

Mini is probably the worst and it hits the whole team, use Quinas 'angel's snack' if you have it, alternatively a regular remedy will do.

Beserk will put one person in berserk mode, which basically removes a person out of the battle because you can't control them and they won't be able to reach ozma with their attack, the only way to get the person out of berserk is to kill them.

Now I will tell you how to beat it (hopefully), note that there is no certain way to kill Ozma so you will need some luck aswell, if it uses curse then meteor then flare star, then its game over. Just keep trying and it will eventually go your way.

Now, your stratergy should be not to use summons, summons dont work well against Ozma he absorbs some of them aswell, use dagger to cast curaga on the entire group even if one person needs help because there is no telling what ozma is going to do next, Quina's 'Angel Snack' is useful when your in mini but maybe you should use remedies so that you save Quina's mp so that his 'frogdrop' can be used. steiner is good, nmaly his shock move thingy untill he has been struck by mini then he is is really week, Quina's frogdrop will for maximum even if you are miniturised.

Zidane's attack is pethetic unless he is in trance then he can inflict maximum with any of his Dynes, unless he is mini, so use the less mp consuming moves so that he can use as many attacks as possible without having to replish mp really early. Apart from that use him to use the remedies and of course his speciality stealing.

Make sure before you fight ozma that you have stocked up on items and that you are healed to maximum, , unless your a pro and played the game loads a times before, or have cheats on, thats about all you can do to prepare for the battle.

I remember the answer to your second question but I think the Choco graph is called 'small beach' otherwise I don't know anyway its on the mist continant and if you found 'bird's eye lagoon' then just head straight from the little island close by (you facing the mist continant, with the other continant to your back) and then dig around the first bay/ beach area you come to, also its not far from the "between mountains" chcograph. its on the side of the continant with "four" crest shapes indented in the land and two little islands nerby, ( really struggling to explain now, )
