1.ocelot-use your socom while holding down x+sqaure and run soot as snake will still be able to shoot while running.

2.m-1 tank-chaff grenades for cannon,c4 to slow it down and grenades for the gunner.

3.ninja-use chaffs to reveal him and stun him then hit away,use thermal goggles to see him.hint *avoid his electric blast when you beat him*

4.psycho mantis-plug controller into port 2,when hideo appears it's not broke it's a distraction by mantis,use socom for faster shots,throw meryl to the ground not hit her that way she doesnt lose life,use thermal goggles to reveal his stealth camouflage.

5.sniper wolf-stay to the right,use diazepam for added accuracy,she has 7 move- ment patterns.

6.torture machine-ocelot says "dont even think about using auto-fie or i'll know" but he never notices trust me I used auto-fire for 6 playthroughs on extreme,if your hardcore tense up your arm muscles and tap away!,i also find it cool to hold the controller sideways while tapping O for added comfort.

7.comm tower a soldiers-run up stairs while holding x+sqr running as you will shoot while running.

8.hind-use stinger and chaff grenades for this very simple fight.

9.sniper wolf rematch-use first fight strategy,use nikita behind truck,use stinger for a quick win.

10.lift guards-just punch the off the railings for a quick battle.

11.vulcan raven-plant c4 and claymores,use stinger,nikita shots,grenades.

12.metal gear rex part 1-use chaffs to disable the nukes,stinger for radome,hide behind crates for protection.
after this a cutscene will occur.

13.rex part 2 -use a combination of chaff and stun grenades and repeat part 1's strategy.

14.vs liquid-just punch and kick,i found it easy just to flip liquid repeatedly.

15.supply route gunfight-shoot like hell!,aim in 1'st person view while shooting it makes your shots more accurate.

The sroyline is you are Solid Snake Cloned from Big Boss Snake there are two others like you Liquid, and solidus obviously you kill liquid. Big boss snake is still alive but all three are, were in liquid's case, trying to eliminate Big Boss to destroy the link between them they are genetically Identical but look different, also Ocelot He looked young 50 years ago.

To move about through the complex faster, hide inside a cargo truck and use a C.Box. Remain perfectly still and a guard will drive the box to the area noted on the box. (There are three boxes, each to a different location.)

There are three ways to get out of jail after the tortures :

The easiest way to defeat Sniper Wolf in the snow field, is to use the guided missle.

Use the first person view and you can see exactly where she is!!

To easily beat metal gear rex at the end of the game, just stand between his legs and move with him.

If you stand in the perfect place then even the laser he shoots can't hit you.

From this position you can just fire stingers at him from underneath for an easy win

When you go against sniper wolf you will have to get out your sniper rifle but the problem is you start shaking so use a diazapan to stop the shaking so you can target her and shoot her on target.

O.K. so, forget the stinger missiles and running between his legs...

This is the best way to defeat Metal Gear Rex, and why not have a break while he is still trying to find you...

Have you ever been sick and tiered of the enimy hearing you walk, but you want to run? You MUST have a rapid fire controler for this to work. Equip a weapon (Preferibly grendadse, but it works with anything but claymores and stingers) and put r1 on rapid. Run a bit and press and hold r1. It will look as if your hovering and your feet arent moving, and manuver pac-man style. Voila! the enimies wont hear you, but you will go just as fast as running, it might even be faster.

After you beat phsyco mantis get past the cave Merlye will ask you something go threw the door Merlye will get shot.

Go back threw the cave and you can go back threw the door on the east side go to the truck on floor one.Take out box.a.

Once you get to the heliport go threw the vent, in the tank hanger go to b2 there will be four enemeys kill the one that is gaurding a door go in be careful there are lazers crawl threw and you'l get a psg-1 rifle.

Get out you will get a call from cambell.go to Sniper Wolf defeat her.

If you go to a certain door (the only door)you will get in a trap. NOTICE:Get a type of pill in the cave(I can't tell you where.)

Get the camera.

On disc1 when you go for the spg-1 go to the bottom where you fight the 1st boss go to the bottom and tap on the wall it will sound hollow.

Use the c4 on it and it will blow a howl in the wall the will be 2 doors one will be level 5 and one will be level 6 the on level 5 door is the one with camera.

When fighting Vulcen Raven for the second time all you have to do to beat him is go some place away from him and then fire a Nikita Missle.

Guide the Missle to sneak up behind Vulcan and hit him. He is real easy.

Another way to kill phyco mantis

when u r fighting mantis, keep calling cambell until he says to destroy the statues.

After that, get your sicom and shoot the statues until the mask falls off on both sides of the rooms. Phico mantis will not read ur mind now.

For the ninja's help, the first time Ocelot is torturing you, submit and when Otacon comes get on the floor and use the ketchup. when the gaurd opens the door get up, but DONT escape. The gaurd will lock you back in the cell. Then when he goes to bathroom again, the ninja will come and break you out.

THE POWER OF THERMALS

1.In the mine field ecwip the thermal gogles then you will see the mins.

2.with thermal gogles you can see optic camoflajStealth camoflage dosint stand a chance!

3.your sniper riflewill turn red and it willbe hard to miss wolf!

After being tortured call docter otacon he will bring you rations a hankerchief an a security card.

The gaurd will leave before otacon comes. when the gaurd starts to come back run and hide under the bed as quick as possible.

Wait till the gaurd notices yhen hell unlock the door and come in. after that kill him and escape.

When trying to find traps, bad guys using stealth or lazers. Use the Thermo Goggles.

You can find these i the open room, off the first floor in the tank hanger (look out for the security camera).

Also, if wanting to take out enemies from afar, use the Nikita Missile (remote control). (You can press TRIANGLE to get the Missile First Person Mode, which makes it more accurate.)

The enemies won't find you because they will go to the explosion, not to where you are!

Stuck

On the Ninja simply throw a chafe grenade and it blinds and stuns him then
take a cheap shot.

Revolver Ocelot cant
beat him set up a trap with a C4 on the
wall away from Baker.

Vulcan Raven tank
throw a chafe run up to the tank and throw grenades.

The next fight with set
claymores everywear find a corner and wait ,to get clamores you crawl use your theamal g.

To find the mines, they were
in the frist fight with Raven, frist Wolf
fight and second one.

REX use chafe. Mantis plug contrller 1 into slot 2...

this is bothe a hint and a cheat

forth: come back and you should have a famas(atleast thats how it worked for me)
