Question for The Sims 2
My sims are stuck in the car.
I wanted 2 of my sims to go to a community lot so I clicked "multiple sims" and then cancelled the "get in car" action on the ones I didn't want to go with them.
I know that's not what I should have done now, but now my sims are stuck in the car. I've tried cancelling the action, I've tried getting the other sims to get in the car with them, I've tried everything. It won't let me save the game or quit or anything like that...
Any ideas? I really don't want to have to close it without saving but if there are no other options....

If your sim(s) are stuck in the car, you have no option but to close it without saving. So if you don't want it to happen again, don't stop the other sims from going in the car as well.
But there is another way you can do it. You will have to put the sims that you don't want to come in bed and make the other sims get in the car.

Well, yes.. Not saving is an option.. Not sure if this comes in handy now or so.. But to go to the town, and then move them out and to another house..

Turn on cheats by ctrl-shift-c and typing "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true"
Hold shift and left click on the vehicle.
Click "Force Error"
The vehicle should disappear and the sim appear elsewhere in the lot.

Point is, I tried this and the car disappeared but so did my sim. His picture on the side disappeared but none of my other sims had memories of his sudden 'death' or anything. I exited without saving, though, so he would still exist.
I have a lot of custom content installed in my game, and I know that's bound to cause glitches but there's gotta be some way to fix this right?

Hey, so my Sim got stuck in a carpool car--he'd been sitting in there for about a day and a half. I even waited for the next days carpool to come to see if that would reset it (it didn't).
