Stuck in Bed
Okay, I put my parent sims to sleep like, 2 'nights' ago or something, and when it was time for the husband to wake up to go to work, he didn't budge. I tried cancling the action, but it didn't do anything. Then when it was time for the mom to make breakfast for the kids, nothing happened. The parents have been stuck in bed for two 'days' and 'nights' and I don't know what to do. The kids are living off of 'maxmotives' and the baby is living off the nanny. But other than that, my family is falling apart. What do I do?!

I've had something like that happen to me. What I did was move the family out of the house they were in and moved them into another one. It got them out of bed but I have to refurnish a whole new house.

All you have to do is open the cheat window and enter moveobject on and then go to buy or build mode, click on them and move them to another part of the house. You may have to delete the bed and buy another one.
If you go to cheat window and enter help , all Maxis game cheats come up.

Okay, my apologizes. In case you haven't figured it out already the cheat you need to use is: moveobjects on. I omitted the 's' last time with 'object'.

My sims always get stuck when i make the wife and husbaand sleep together! (Not that kind of sleep, the zzzzzzzzzzz one!) i try to avoid it, but......

if you havn't saved wile they are in bed log out without saving or you could also move to another house

yes this happened to me a muliple of time,try 4.the first 3 time i moved out nd back in again i had to refurtish the whole thing!:( the last time i made a whole new family with all new furniture, and it did it again. So i am gunna go use the" moveobjects on" code to see if that will work!

Hey,you just do the following: press CTRL SHIFT C and this cheat box will come up,type in that white long box: 'Moveobjects on' and write it without the '' on just moveobjects on.

Thank you for the tips! It was 2 days and I kept going on ffwd and they weren't waking up! All of their stats when to red! The wife was pregnant and had her babies immediately after I did the "moveobjects on" and deleted the bed. Thanks so much for posting this!

I found two different methods to solving this problem without having to move them out of the house. The first is doing Ctrl Alt C and typing into the window, "Move objects." Then you can move the person to another part of the house, but it doesn't always work. You can also do, "boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true" and shift click the sim that is stuck. New options will appear beside the primp, walk to community lot, and whatever other options there were. Click on the Force error option and your Sim should be fine.

Um...this has never happened to me before...but have you tried this? Go the the neiborhood and open the cheatbox with Ctrl, Alt, C, and then type in "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" (without speechmarks) go to your familly, and then hold shift and click on the bed. You should either get a load of options or just one - "force error". If you get lots of options, keep clicking "more..." until "force error" comes up. Then click "reset" on the box that pops up. Either it's the bed thats making an error, or it's the people. If forcing an error forcing on the bed doesnt help, try the same trick on the sims. They should pop up somewhere in the room mid-walk and be fixed.

Soooo sad I waited too long to find the solution and when they awoke.... The reaper was waiting for them.. Lala was first to go, but she was an elder.. Much older then her comp generated live-in.. RIP lala jaxn :(

It's as simple as opening the cheat entering bar thing by pressing ctrl+alt+c and entering move_objects on
Then deleting the bed and buying a new one, once you go back into live mode your people will appear somewhere around the lot, this happens to mine nearly every time they sleep... If you make them woohoo before sleeping though it doesn't seem to happen.
