I have tried EVERYTHING. Updating the drivers, getting rid of unwanted unused programs from my comp... Clearing my cache and internet files... Technical support... Defragging my comp... Even updated my RAM to make PLENTY of space for this game... And for some odd frickin totally retarded reason... The entire game was running fine all frickin day for hours until DoomKitty and her partner decided to get knocked up. And so here she is trying to give birth.. And the sims2 application is serving her up with a rather nasty "abortion" EVERY SINGLE TIME shes about to give birth by the application "unexpectadly crashing" and it says "the application will close now" wth is going on??? Please someone help! Send me an e mail to xxxdoomkittyxxx@yahoo.com in case I forget to check back here for the answer... Ill try and come back to see if someone was able to help me... Thanks guys.

Sounds daft but you don't have anything running in the background do you?
Like an antivirus or something? SOmetimes those kind of things interfere with the game.
I don't really know any other reasons why it would do that. If it is playing for hours usually it just slows horribly when the ram memory is low.

Another possibility is that if your hard drive that the sims 2 is saved on has a small amount of space left, it causes problems. The sims 2 takes up SOO much space-which is fine if you have an external drive or don't have alot of programs or(unlike me) your C drive was made with alot of space. You will probably not like this idea, but it may be a good idea to move the family to another lot or delete it.
