how to make the deck touch the wall

I have offtern seen the sims 2 deck touching the walls in the houses to make a raised room.if any one noes how to do this please give me an answer thank you it would reay help in this house I am trying to build

If you mean there's a deck conecting to and exiting house structure, and you want to make the room above that deck then all you need are coloums.

If you mean that you want a raised room, just randomly in a house, then it cannot be done. If you mean you want your house raised obove your lot, then you need to use the deck tool, and make an area, which you will build walls on, and will becom your house.

You can't have a deck attached to the wall. You can create a foundation first and create a house on top of that, leaving a section to be the deck.

If you had the Sims2 Apartment Life, you could create a stage(which is a deck or a foundation that goes inside or outside a house, and can connect to a wall). This tool is located in the same area where you find the decks (or foundations).

There is a cheat for this sort of thing.
BoolProp ConstrainFloorElevation false, I think it was. Be creative with that cheat.
It can be used to attach a garage to a house too, if you built the house on a foundation.
