Question:

Unable to build anything

Lady_Pippy

Date of Question: Aug 30 2008 | Question ID: 128497

When I click on Build Mode and try to build nothing appears on the map. For example, if I click on a wall and then move the mouse onto the map to start building it's still just the blue arrow. Clicking, moving the mouse around, and practically anything else isn't working.

I usually find it's easier to use the tool that allows you to click and drag the 4 walls at the same time. Its easier as trying to connect each wall wont work if your even a pixel out of place.

You need to click, drag and release and it should work. Then a wall will form, it may not be easy to spot but it should be there. If you can build there it will either show a red line (if I remember rightly) or it just wont do it!

So make sure you are doing are constructing something doable

Make sure you are trying to build on a lot that you put down, and make sure you are building somewhere in the middle. Building to close to the edge will prevent any building parts to appear.
