I haven't modded this game (i've only ever modded Halo) but most modding usually follows a general pattern. To mod a game, you would normally require a program specifically built to mod that game (e.g. Halo uses Halo Modding Tools, or HMT in short). Some people might have other methods but I am no expert in these matters.
