You will see at the end, the mask holds no value until the final battle against...(you'll find out). That is the only time the mask is used and will determins your fate.

At the very end after you fite jack as a dragon? (possible spoiler) if you wear it, ull become fully evil and never be able to go back. If after you beat him the first time, it's just to collect souls in part 2.

You do in fact die if you choose to wear it but it also singnifes that you are pure evil and all powerfull now.It does nothing to your power at all in fact people fear you alot more now. Ther is also antoher downside the mask can't me taken off so you can't put on a helmet to cover it up.Ther is 1 tin upside if you wait till end of credits you can still play him.YYYYAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!But not realy
