Shotguns (the pumpshotgun and the autoshotgun) use single bullets, not clips like the rest. Therefore, firing a shot or two and then reloading will keep you from having to reload during a horde attack. The rest of the guns should be reloaded whenever 1: you have time, and 2: the load in the current clip is lower than 3/5, except the hunting rifle, which suits better with reloading when 2/5 is left.
Boomer
Explodes causing temporary vision blur.
Tank
Throws huge items at your party, deals huge damage. Hard to kill. Easiest to kill with molotov cocktails.
Smoker
Grabs you with his tongue, get a teammate to shoot it.
Witch
Ignore the witch, startling her results in near certain death.
Hunter
Pounces, shoot multiple times to get it off.

On the back of L4D it says 10 new weapons than the demo, BIG LIE I've beat the game 4 times in all campaings and in all difficulitys and all achievements and nothing just M-16, autoshotty, and Hunting Rifle but nothing new.
