Question for Pokemon White 2

Ok I know this isn't really related to this game, but does anyone have any idea why my computer is NOT reading my action replay at all? It's not even showing up as "usb inserted" or anything. I put the update lead into my computer and... Nothing. No matter which computer I try or how many times I try.. Just nothing not even an error message. Is it a dodgy lead cable, and would I have to buy a new AR? Thanks.

Well if you ask me, I would take your computer AND the action re-player down to gamestop or walmart's game center and have them check it out...that is what I would do
