How to GET/BREED EGGS (ALSO SHINY EGGS)

Anyway, the masuda method is a way to make shiny Pokemon much easier to get, and I use it in this video to hatch a shiny riolu (NO YOU MAY NOT HAVE IT ^-^). I have hatched many shiny Pokemon using this method, and I hope it has comes in use for many of you guys watching this video.

Usually, the chances of finding/hatching a shiny Pokemon are 1/8192, but using the Masuda Method, you raise the chances 4X to 1/2048.

You need to make sure you have-

-two Pokemon you want to breed to get a shiny (from different countries)

-a Pokemon that has the ability flame body/magma armor to make eggs hatch faster (slugma, magmar, and they're evolutions are good examples.)

-the daycare poketch app (get it from that guy sitting at the table.)

-and PATIENCE

Also one note, if one of the Pokemon you are breeding is shiny, there is NOT a better chance of getting a shiny pokemon. Just thought I should mention that.

This method works in diamond/pearl/platinum/heartgold/soulsilver but easiest to do in diamond pearl or platinum because of the poketch.

Also a note, using an everstone to pass down natures WILL NOT work with two Pokemon from different countries.

Q: Can you stop during the process to take a break, or will that mess it all up?

A: NO. Hatching shinies is not like chaining with the pokeradar for shinies. You can stop and restart any time you want to. YOU CAN SAVE AND TURN OFF THE GAME. IT WILL NOT AFFECT THE PROCESS AT ALL.

Q: Can I have your ________?

A: No, I don't trade my Pokemon.

Q: I got a [pokemon] from [country other than you.S.] will it work?

A: Yes

Q: I've hatched [number] eggs and still no shiny! What am I doing wrong?

A: First, check to make sure both your Pokemon are from different countries. Check OT names also. You can also check the pokedex. If you have a spanish, german, french, or japanese Pokemon, there will be an option to view that pokedex entry in another language. Also, make sure you have a Pokemon that has one of the above abilities to make eggs hatch faster so you're not overworking yourself.
