How do you get the silver wing?

ANSWERS

You receive the Silver Wing after saving Goldenrod Radio Tower from Team Rocket, the manager gives it to you.

And yes, you can catch Lugia with any ball you want, Ultra Balls are also the best balls in the game beside the Master Ball, too, so yeah. You'll need to weaken it and maybe cause some status problems on it first though, of course.

2. Yes it is possible to catch Lugia in an Ultra Ball. You can catch him in any ball, like a Poke Ball (which is near impossible due to him being a legendary Pokemon)

1.The Silver Wing is obtained from the Goldenrod Radio Tower Manager after saving him from Team Rocket. 2.Yes, it is possible to catch Lugia in any type of pokeball. I would know because I caught it in a regular pokeball. However, it took me appr. 12 resets and about 300 pokeballs, so pokeballs are not recommended. I would prefer ultra balls, but someone bet me I coudn't catch it in a pokeball. Even with Ultra balls, you want to get it's health down as low as possible and inflict it with a status condition, preferably paralysis or freeze.

Yaaaaaa I kinda think it's possible but I didnt have the patience to catch it with a poke ball so I used a master ball tho I did try it 20 times and still failed while using ultra balls the entire time. And the silver wign is goten in the radio tower. Dude guy nice job catching Lugia like that it's almost impossible

No can't catch Lugia in ultra ball legit I tryed with 99 ultra ball he breaks out I had use master ball on him.

use a heavy ball to catch lugia. hey can any one tell me how to defeat the team rocket in goldenrod city, the team rocket guy out side the tower says some thing and then pushis me back.??????

to get the the silver wing u get it by defeating team rocket in the goldenrod radio tower thigy hold up! u cant catch lugia yet u then have to defeat the kimono girls just to let u know zuki or yuki has umbreon level 37 all the kimono girls have an evolved form of eevee once u got them all(defeated) u then go to whirly islands check every one of them see if lugia there if he isnt in any then most likely u didnt it wrong

at first i coudn't cath lugia with a heavy ball!
but you have to stay to the rocks and then the first island is where lugia.

When i got to Lugia i caught it with a quick ball after using about 4 ultra balls and 3 heavy balls. this proves that you dont need the master ball. You get the silver wing after defeating team Rocket at the radio tower. Also you need the. Lugias moves are Rain Dance, Hydro Pump, Aeroblast, and extrasensory. If you want my advice save your game before battling Lugia!

To get to and catch Lugia you need:

>Silver Wing ( Obtained from beating Team Rocket at the GoldenRod City Radio Tower. )

>Obtained the tidal bell from beating all five kimono girls

>Have all 8 gym badges

>The move whirlwind

The best way to catch him is to use a paralyzing move after getting his HP as low as possible. Do NOT use the masterball! Instead have Kurt make you a heavy ball or fast ball. They both have equal usefullness. Save your Master Ball for Raikou or Suicune, use Suicune for speed and Raikou for strength. Hope this helps - Eternity

No I don't think you can get it back, and isn't it a KEY item. If it is you shouln't be able to sell it maybe your game glitched.

You all should try dusk balls, they are really effective against Pokemon that you find underground. Save your masterballs for toughies like ho-oh and the three dogs.
