All you have to do is to unlock all rooms(two in the union cave and one across the water outside the ruins) and catch all 26 unowns(if you can't remember all the unowns write them on the paper-it helped me) and then the new room will apear in the main enterance.
THAT'S IT.

ok listen, collect all the unowns and talk to the guy in the research place. Then go to all 4 chambers and go to the rooms where you collect the 4 items. Then jump down the hole at the back. Once that is done go to the main room and that guy from the research place. He takes you back to the research place. Go back to the main room and the ! and ? unowns will be there. Hope i could help.

You have 2 talk 2 the researcherthat gave u the unknown report and then u get out of there and take an arceus put it in the frount of your team and go to the researcher again. But this time before you enter he will come running out saying that somehow a new picture has appeared then he says he is going to look through his documents. Then U have to go there and press A in front of the picture and then everything will get foggy and then it will say something has changed. You get out and talk to the researcher and he will say that you must help figure out the puzzle and with that U can go to the entrance and then run close around the picture and in Soul Silver the ? unknown will come first and then the ! unknown hope it helps.

What you have to do is complete the riddle task which is:escape,water,light,ho-oh.
What this means is:escape=escape rope,water=water stone,light=flash,ho-oh=ho-oh first in party.Then talk to researchers then go to the entrance,there is a gold plate on back wall
press on that then the researcher will come in acting all suprised about it then he takes you back to the office and tells you about new unown symbols.All you do then is go back to the
Entrance and run around near the gold plate and they should show up.
(P.S. This will work because i just caught them.)
