Clothing/Sim Store not Working

Clothing/Sim Store not Working
The store with the two faces on it (the one that is available at the beginning of the game) is not working. When I click on it nothing shows up, therefore meaning I can't buy anything with Simoleons. To get it should I delete this game and make a whole new one? Should I uninstall and reinstall the app? But I don't want to lose my progress, so what should I do? Any ideas?
