What happens to my toddler if both parents die?
If I choose to kill both of the parents of a toddler, what happens to the toddler? Has anyone tried this? I don't want to risk trying, does the toddler just stay the same?

The toddler lives in the house by his/herself. I sent an Adult to the toddler's house and progressed their relationship to 'good friend'. Once the toddler and adult became good friends, the option became available for the toddler to ask the adult to adopt him. They then become parent and child. The toddler is at that time moved into the adult's home.

None of my toddlers have died, and I've orphaned plenty of toddlers. It also works on Pre-teens and teenagers. The child does take the adopted parents last name.

I have became best friends with the adult, but nothing happens. I am sad, because they live on the island and no one else lives there. Please Help!
