Why won't my sims freeplay sync up?

Question for The Sims FreePlay

Why won't my sims freeplay sync up? I have been trying to marry two sims for a long time. If I click on one of the sims, it says there are married. If I click on the other one, it says they are still engaged. And it is doing this for all my sims. Is this a glitch, and can it be fixed? I have a lot of money in the game, so I really don't want to have to delete it? Thanks.

Try restarting your device. If that doesn't work, than go into the pause menu in game and tap the cloud icon. This will allow you to save your progress. After saving to the cloud, try deleting and reinstalling the app. I promise you won't lose anything as long as you save to the cloud. If this doesn't work than your only option is to contact EA through their website. Also, make sure you have a good wifi connection as that can be part of the problem.
