Why won't my sims swim in their pools or relax in the pool chairs?

Do you have a ladder? They won't go in the pool if they can't get out

You probably need to clean the pool first.

click on the pool. takes about 3mins to clean (because we all know cleaning a pool takes 3 mins while making a birthday cake takes a day)
