Question for The Sims FreePlay

I have ghost items and I've searched for ghosts before but just now I no longer have the option to, I used to click on the table but my player just shows the symbol which is a red circle with a line through it, I've made sure that he is able to walk to it... I've brought some pictures with the ghost symbol but they don't have any options when I tap on it, and the fireplace thing only has the option to turn on/off. I've reset my ipod... What more can I do?

I'm having the same problem. I was ghost hunting yesterday and then last night it stopped working. I tried resetting my device, closing out of the app, and buying new furniture. Anyone able to fix this?

Seems to be a glitch. Nothing we can do until the game developers rectify it.

I have the same problem on my ipad mini and don't know how to contact programmers of the game because when I go back to my market the only option for the game is to open it... After I caught the first ghost it wouldn't allow me to ghost hunt any longer... I see updates on the Internet but not sure if they're real or not...
