I'm on a goal to buy a telescope to go stargazing but I can't find the telescope in the online shop, what section is it under?

Telescopes are not in the homestore. You need to buy these at the Promotion R Us store, which you need to build if you have not done so.
After you bought the item, you can find them in your inventory at the homestore.
