Question for The Sims FreePlay

My own sims and my lover live in two different houses. I had them fall in love but now I want them to marry. Here is my problem: I want them both to live in MY house cause I renovated it (my lover's house is not even worthy of being called a house). Now how do I have to do this? Do I have to ask my lover to move in together or to marry me so he moves in with me or doesn't that matter?

(Because last time I got to sims marry each other the male accidentally took over de female's last name. That's how I learned that is DOES MATTER who asks whom to move in/to marry)

PLEAS HELP!

YOU need to ask your lover Sim to move in with you. That way, the lover will take your last name.
You can either do so with the "Ask to move in" option or by the traditional route of getting married.
In any case, YOU have to be the one doing the initiative, not the lover. If you let the lover do all the asking, it will be you who's going to be moving in with the lover.

It's the other way around for asking to move in. The other sim with the less nice house must ask to move in, and they move in to your house. You have to be at your house.
