Question for The Sims FreePlay
I got a fishing competition and I can't catch anything other than trout or koi and I have been "fishing" for a while? Why is that? And can it be fixed?

You have to level up in order to catch other fish. To level up, you must fish for long periods of time. Try doing a Fishathon .

But the competition says to collect "Fishing L. 2" and "Fishing L. 3" so does that still mean that we need to level up? I'm especially confused as the Brown trout is level 2 and the Spotted Koi level 3...

Dont worry just fish for as long as you can, focus on leveling up rather than catching all the fish at once.
If you have a lot of time to play the game "Go Fishing" as many times as you can until you get bored and then use "unwind" or "settle in", but when you reach level 4 or 5 it will bet really difficult to level up until you reach 5 and a half and the actions will be " go fishing" +2 for 1 hour +11 and 9 hours +32.
