How do I get rid of the "evil" plants from the Halloween app?

I don't think there's a way to get rid of it... If you've noticed, EA found a way to limit cheating; they placed Sim Eating Plants on the crops that have the highest XP return. So you're gambling when you plant strawberries, eggplants, etc. Because you don't know if you'll get XP or a Sim Eating Plant. Too many people were turning back and forth the time to gain a lot of XP from growing eggplants and such; now we don't advance to the next level as fast because the Sim Eating Plants are holding us back :/

I have never had anything come from an experimental plant or food. Every time they have turned into a Sim eating plant or set fire so I just don't bother with them.
