The reason might be that you have a dog bowl instead of a cat bowl; pay attention the animal when you make purchases on Items.

Does anyone know how to make my cat sleep on the antique bed

Move your scratching post/bed/cat food into an open area (the middle of a room, outside, etc.) where there would likely be nothing like walls or furniture around the bowl and then the cat will come over.

No Matter Where I Put Bowl Sims Refuse To Feed Pets

The don’t have to feed them the pet should just walk to the food unless it’s a rabbit then there is an option to feed the rabbit
Guest answered:

Yes, so I was so frustrated. Had a bed and a cat bowl set and every time I called my cat, it never came. Then finally I MOVED THE CAT BOWL AND BED. I put the bed in the middle of the room. If I had it in a corner, it didn't matter how I rotated it, the cat never came. I wish they would put the blue footprint bubble so you would know that they can't access it. And as for the bowls, I just rotated it so both sides of it was open and the cat went straight to it as soon as I called it over.

It's a cat. Since when do they ever do what you ask them to? It will eat when you're not looking.

I had the same problem. Turns out the bowl was facing the wrong way. Check to make sure the bowl is face the right way- if the cat were to approach the bowl, the water should be on the left and the cat food on the right.

I had the same problem, it worked out when I zoomed out completely, the cat and the food/bed both were in view and then I called it over, the cat came running. Also you got to make sure the front of the object is not facing the wall. Hope it helped
