My sim accidentally married the wife and took her last name... How do I change it?

Sorry, there is no way to change names. Choose first and last names wisely because they stick. Also watch out who asks who to get engaged, because when you tap "Get Married" that is who gets to use their last name, they one who proposed.

This is true, UNLESS they are already living together in the same house. I moved the man into the woman's house before a proposal, because I liked her place better. Even though the man proposed, he still took her name. I think if they are living separately, the one who proposes will give his/her last name and is the name that is used for both Sims.

This is true unless the couple is already living together. I moved the man into the woman's house. Even though he proposed, he ended up with her last name. I think if the couple is living separately, the Sim couple will both have the ladt name of the Sim that propises.

Go to city hall and you can change both 1st and last name. Both, or just 1.
