How can I skip the add a sim to town quest. I can't get 5000 bucks to buy a new sim.

If you have the newest update for the app, then you should be able to tap on the gaol, and when it pops up on the screen, there will be a button to the left that looks similar to a play button. Tap on it and then tap on the orange LP circle. It will cost you 5 LP to skip a goal.
