What is the point of the supermarket? What happens if you buy a veggie from it?

The veggie Seeds go into your backpack. The store sells seeds for about 1simoleon cheaper than the garden patch. So your seeds are in your backpack. Than when you tap a garden patch, all your options to plant come up an the seeds you bought will appet as abackpack instead of a price.
I don't use the supermarket, there's not enoght cost savings and it's a waste of time

On the higher veggies that take a while to grow and have high $ values, you can save like $10-20. Makes a difference if you have 10 sims constantly planting ($10x10=$100 savings). I always buy seeds and bake goods at the store and have save a boatload of money.
