Question for The Sims FreePlay
I play Sims FreePlay on my Android Vivid. Anytime my lock screen comes on, the game screen is all static when I unlock it - it's like a grid of green/yellow/purple pixels. I have to kill the process before the game will work again. That was fine at first because I would just make sure to save game before doing anything else on phone. But now, the "player appreciation day" banner appears every time I open game and when I close banner, the game is pixelated again and I can't fix it without killing the process... Which of course brings up the banner again and the vicious cycle resumes. My android is current on updates, as is my Sims FreePlay. Would appreciate any help!

Try re-downloading the game, that seems like it might help. If that doesn't work, try restarting your phone/device and then turn the app on. If none of that works, let me know and i'll see what else I can do to help you.

Thanks for the hints. I tried redownloading, and simply restarting and neither worked. Would appreciate any more suggestions.

Same issue for me. The "marriage and babies" advertisement fubars the game. It's not needed, I have no clue why they do it? Why are you advertising for the game that I'm already playing?
I now cannot play the game because it constantly pops up this stupid ad to tell me what I'm already playing, and then I can't interact any further because the screen is all yellow. I'm running this on Ice Cream Sandwich. No clue what the fix is.
Ideas? I don't believe it's an advertisement but perhaps an Ad blocker would be of help??
