Question for The Sims FreePlay

Why does the girl sim in The Sims Freeplay start having green sparkles glow around her body ?

It means your sim is inspired. It will lose the sparkles when your sim's needs go down. When your Sim is inspired you get bonus XP in all the things that sim does.
