Has anyone figured a technique for the damn dog races. I bet the odds on favorite 6 times and won 3 times so I came out minus $2500, so I decided to try the long shot a couple times (didn't keep track of it since I was frustrated) no wins. Give me a cheat! Add me moondogpro

One trick that I use, which works better if you're NOT on a wifi network, is to have as many characters as you can "Shop at the Kwik-E-Mart". Wait until they finish (by then you will be able to bet on a race), and as quickly as you can, tap on the Kwik-E-Mart to complete the multiple characters' tasks WITHOUT tapping on all the money and XP to collect them, then scroll over to Springfield Downs and bet on whatever race. If your dog loses, as quickly as possible close the game then reopen it. Because there is a lag in the communication between the game and the network, the game "forgets" that you've bet on a race whilst trying to keep track of all the tasks completed by your characters. You should still have your $5,000 and, depending on how much data the game has processed, your characters might still be waiting at the Kwik-E-Mart with big yellow "thumbs-up's" ready to try the process again. I have managed to do this several times in a row before the game catches up. I usually just do it once, and if I lose, send the characters back to shop and try again in an hour.

What I meant was if you fail to win, and you use the Kwik-E-Mart method, you exit the game after you lose, then the servers would have updated about tasks being completed then you have to assign jobs and wait another hour. Instead do it with brown houses, since once you collect your money and bet and lose & exit, the money would already be updated while the races would not, then you can just wait 5 minutes.

I keep playing the first dog on the list and win a couple times they hangs the list. The dogs That seem to win the most are not a chance, dog biscuit and drool Britannia. Like I said I always chose the first dog on the list and most of the time I win

This would be great to see if possible, I wonder if it still works since the recent updates.

I rapidly tap ready buildings, then evacuate the kwik-e-mart and rapidly placed a bet. Just before the "you lost" screen pops up, I force-quit the game, but when I load the game later I am greeted with the "you lost" screen. If this trick does still work, I'd be grateful to see a clip posted.

I have had this happen and it does work just didn't know what I did but I haven't been able to do it twice but yes I bet lost still had money not collected and when I started it back up I was able to bet again but lost because I didn't remember who had one but yes there is truth to it[color=red][/color]

The best thing I've found for my iphone, is send a txt message to yourself from another phone, just as the winner is announced, before it actually goes to the "you lost" screen. If you accept the txt message and leave the game, when you come back into the game it will be like the race never happened....and now you know who's going to win

All of that does not work. If you bet and lose (or win) and something happens (could be you turned it off, you text yourself or someone text you, accidentally or on purpose) whichever way.... You're Beat!

Don't want to lose... Don't bet.

I am done playing the F$&/$9 Race since 0/5 $25000 and a lot F$$&/9

Any new things some can share to make some $ fast aside from brown houses or force shutting the game? ;)

What I do is build a lot of the white houses instead of the brown houses. White houses cost about $7700. You make a lot more money with white houses.

Purple houses make more money than white houses cause if y think about it 75 every 4 hrs = 150 every 8 hrs which = 225 every 12 hrs vs the 210 every 12 hrs

I'm not going to risk it. Also, Brown houses give you jack. Not worth the effort. Whenever I have more than enough for an impending quest involving a new building, I buy a new white house and stack it near all the others. If you can check it at the same time day and night, (12 hour cycle), you can make some serious cash and perpetuate the cycle, but experience is low.

Add me! Calhermit is a great town, and Joshtcc23 has some nice Halloween elements coming together. Add both!

You are wasting time ! Your Math Skills are not very good ! Look at it this way .... EACH. Brown House can earn those 200 Points Much Faster than a White one ! It takes More Than 10 Hours for 1White, But Just 3 Browns will earn More in Just an Hour ! That also means that just 3 Browns, in the same amount of time, would give you More Than 1,000 $ ! Are they worthless ? NO ! Actually, if Wealth is your goal, they are The Best Option ! ! !

$504 for brown houses is a bit useless! Keep buying brown houses until you can earn $1800 every 5 mins. Then start buying blue houses which pay $150 every 8hours ( up to $450 per house per day) I have 264 houses and earn min per day $79,000. I have close to $1,000,000 dollars and can afford any task thrown at me. Land around me is costing approx $50,000 and I'm on level 24.

I hate to say it but the only thing that gets you guaranteed $ is consistency. The 60 minute missions give you more money in the long run than the 2 hr missions, which give more money than the 4 hour, and so on. So instead of putting everyone on a 24 hour mission, pick an amount of hours when you know you're going to come back to and not get bored with over time- I do 4 hour periods and set 8 hour missions bfore bed, but you can do 8 hour, or 2 hour missions depending on your level of commitment (you can do 1 hour missions if you really want but my experience is this can get boring after a while and you lose interest in the game more easily).
So like I said the key is consistency- if you know you can come back to the game every 4 hours or so without getting bored of it set 4 hour missions and watch your money grow.

Hey, that is not how statistics works. If the odds are one to a billion that a certain dog would win that does not mean the dog wins once every billion trials. Each trial is its own unique event. The dog could win every single time or not even once, not in a billion tries, not in a quadrillion tries.

If this is difficult to understand my advice is to stay away from Vegas.

The betting goes from up to down and from down to up. Just bet The First time take a snapshot before and after the winner. The second time is a guess it can be te upper dog or the dog behind it. Third you wil know. Thats basicly it.

So I tried the shut down method, still signed on to "you lost" & my $5k gone. I've bet only on the best odds and still have lost 4 out of 5. Would love to see a YouTube but at this point will just forego until I have money to burn.

The track is a waste of time anyway. The favorite, while listed at 1:2 actually only pays at 1:4. The next dog shows 1:1 but pays 1:2. Next dig show 2:1 but only pays 1:1. The next shows 4:1 but only pays 2:1. The last dog shows odds of 9:1, but only pays at4:1. No matter the system you use, you will lose money.

I was playing the track while fat tony was on a mission there.
While reading the screen, it said somthing like:
Fat tony told us the winner was ..... And it was who I had put my cash on. Dont no if it was a cheat or just luck. But give it a shot. Send Fat tony to the track then go your self. See how you get on.

Even If it wins 3/4 this would mean:
You bet: 5000 * 4 = 20000
You win: 6250 * 3 = 18750
Which means you would lose -1250$ :D

When you first get the downs it`ll tell you to bet on the first dog; This is what I do: after betting on the first dog and win I wait for it to be available again, but this time I don`t place any bets instead I store the building and immediately put it back, this resets the cycle and the next time it`s available I bet on the first dog again and I win. This way you can only win once every two hours but it`s better that loosing $5000 every hour.

Dont know if it's significant, I bet on the 9-1 when I only had money enough for one bet (less than 10, 000) two times, and won both times.

If you place a bet on the dog track then quickly go and do the scratch card at kwikimart,your dog wins,I have done this a few times and always won,hope this helps
