Achievements

(Line breaks are currently being fixed. Please excuse the messy layout.)

Free Fall (5G)

Freefall more than 100m and live (Single Player only).

This can be done using a glider. Find one near a deep body of water, glide to it and jump to dive.

Inked Up 5G

Earn 5 skill tattoos.

You can get skill tattoos by earning experience and spending skill points on the skills you prefer. Some of the skills only become available as you progress in the story though.

Fully Inked 30G

Earn every tattoo by learning all the skills.

The game offers more than enough activities and missions for you to maximize your skill points. This shouldn't be a problem as long as you complete quests and activities often.

Money to Burn 15G

Spend $5000 at the shop.

This will unlock automatically once you spent a total of $5000 at the shop. You'll unlock this eventually as you progress through the game.

Aftermarket Junkie 20G

Buy all attachments and paint jobs for one weapon.

The cheapest way to do this is to buy 1911 pistol, which is the first weapon you'll buy as part of the story. It has no attachments so you just have to purchase all of its paint jobs for a total of $1200 to unlock this achievement.

Rebel With a Cause 10G

Liberate 3 Outposts.

To liberate an outpost, you have to kill all enemies. You'll know this once a quick scene takes place and your allies arrive to guard the outpost.

Island Liberator 40G

Liberate all Outposts.

There are a total of 34 Outposts in two islands. Just reactivate the radio towers to reveal their locations in the map.

Unheard 20G

Liberate an outpost without triggering an alarm.

The first outpost you'll liberate as part of the story is not counted. To get this achievement, you have to clear the outpost without triggering an alarm. Using silenced weapons and the bow is recommended. You can also use noisy but powerful weapons such as RPGs, Grenade Launchers or a standard sniper rifle as long as the enemies don't see you. Take note that enemies will tend to look around the area where the sound originated so if you're going loud (and sometimes even with bow kills), remember to stay hidden or move around the area.

Full Bars 20G

Activate 9 radio towers.

Radio towers are marked in the map so you can't miss them. Climbing some of them however, requires careful jumps and movement.

Archeology 101 20G

Gather a total of 60 relics.

There are a total of 120 relics. Refer to the Relics section of the guide for the individual location of the relics.

Dead Letters 20G

Gather all "Letters of the Lost".

Refer to this guide's Letters of the Lost section for the individual location of the letters.

Memory to Spare 20G

Gather all the Memory Cards.

Memory Cards are found inside the safehouses of major Outposts. Refer to this guide's Memory Cards section for more details.

Jungle Journal 20G

Unlock 50 entries in the Survivor Guide.

This is found in your handbook. From locations, citizens, wildlife, weapons, plants and even vehicles. Just use everything you find, hunt often and explore the island to get more entries.

Bagged and Tagged (10 points)

Complete a Path of the Hunter quest.

Path of the Hunter” quests are available from liberated Outposts. Complete any of them to get this.

Road Trip 10G

Complete a Supply Drop quest.

You have to deliver the supplies to the marked location before the timer runs out. This is basically a checkpoint race. You have to follow the flares until you reach the destination point. Sadly, no time is added by crossing the checkpoint flares. New Supply Drop Quests become available as you clear radio towers.

Road Trip
.

In Cold Blood 10G

Complete a WANTED Dead quest.

Wanted Dead quests are available at the bulletin boards of the liberated Outposts. Though the quests tell you to knife the target, you can kill them using conventional means though you won't get bonus EXP instead. Head to the marked location where the target is staying then tag all enemies to identify him. The target has a distinct yellow marker above its head. You are free to do whatever approach you want in eliminating the target and his guards.

Let the Trials Begin 10G

Beat any Trial of the Rakyat score.

There are 12 Trials in the game which will require you to kill enemies using the provided weapons. These weapons will have infinite ammo and you'll carry infinite health as well. There are three scores to beat; beating the highest score will yield better and more rewards.

Refer to this guide's Trials of the Rakyat section for more details.

Poker Bully 20G

Win $1500 playing poker.

Even if you're not into playing Poker, you'll get this during the sidequestFather's Burden” since it is required for you to beat all your opponents in poker (Normal difficulty)

Hunter Hunted 10G

Lure and kill a predator.

Simply kill an aggressive predator to unlock this achievement. There's a lot of predatory animals in the island so you'll eventually unlock this while hunting.

Poacher 20G

Hunt and skin a rare animal.

Path of the Hunter quests are available at the bulletin boards of the liberated Outposts. Some of them offer a quest to hunt and skin a rare animal. You'll know this since their names are unique. Their skins are also materials for high-end upgrades so you may want to complete these quests as soon as you can.

Artsy Craftsy 10G

Craft 5 upgrades for your equipment.

You'll be taught how to craft early the game. Once you have the crafting menu available, open it to consult what hides you need. As you successfully craft one upgrade, the next upgrade will be unlocked. Next, open your map to check where is the hunting ground for the animal(s) you need. You may also have to clear the map by activating radio towers and even freeing the region from pirate control so you'll have the freedom to move around without worrying about them.

It is recommended to hunt the more fearsome and dangerous games (such as tigers, leopards, dogs and bears) once you have unlocked the Animal Repellant recipe or if you have better skills or weapons. This will make your hunting far less riskier and a lot more easier. The last upgrades for most equipment also come from very rare species that will only become available by accepting “Path of the Hunter” quests, available from liberated Outposts.

Needle Exchange 15G

Craft 25 syringes.

You'll start with the basic syringe recipes early the game. It is rather simple to gather leaves and craft syringes so you'll unlock this eventually as you progress in the game.

The Good Stuff 15G

Craft a special syringe.

You can unlock recipes for special syringes as you progress in the story. However, if you want to get this achievement earlier, you need to collect 30 relics. This will unlock the recipe for “Untouchable”. This just requires 5 green, 5 blue, and 2 white leaves. Craft it to unlock the achievement.

Say Hi to the Internet 10G

Find the lost Hollywood star.

This is a half-buried decapitated head found on a beach. Watch the video below:

Lost Hollywood Star

Heartless Pyro 10G

Kill 50 enemies with the flamethrower (Single Player only).

You can purchase the Flamethrower for $2400 and even expand its tank for $250. You can even unlock it for free later on by reactivating a radio tower. Have some fireproof serum ready when using this, especially on grassy areas as it can easily set the surrounding enemies and foliage on fire.

Love the Boom 10G

Kill 4 enemies simultaneously with one explosion (Single Player only).

You can easily do this by using an RPG or grenade to a enemy vehicle with four passengers. Triggering an outpost alarm or killing enemy patrols outside will usually cause enemy reinforcements to arrive by jeep. Destroy the vehicle before they completely disembark.

Rock Always Wins 10G

Fully distract 25 enemies with rocks (Single Player only).

You can throw rocks to get enemies attention. Let them investigate and wait until they “reset” or return to their original positions. You don't have to do this 25 times in a row. This is cumulative.

Island Paparazzi 15G

Tag 25 enemies using the camera (Single Player only).

You can tag enemies by pulling up your camera (UP DPAD) and focusing on the targets until marker appears over their heads. This can be easily unlocked by tagging enemies in Outposts or Wanted quests.

Guide Image

Fearless or Stupid 15G

Dive more than 60m (Single Player only).

Later in the game you can craft the Deep Dive syringe that will extend your time breathing underwater. This can be further enhanced by having specific skills that also extend your underwater breathing, make you dive/swim faster or extend the effects of syringes.

Find a dark blue spot in the sea then dive straight down. There's at least one relic that's located below 60m underwater so you can also unlock this achievement while trying to get it.

Never Saw it Coming 20

Kill an enemy with a takedown from above from a glider, zipline or parachute (Single Player only).

To do this, you should have the Death from Above skill. Zipline is the easiest method of all. The Neck's Diner outpost has a zipline leading inside. You can lure an enemy right under the zipline's path then execute him.

Improper Use 5G

Kill an enemy with the Repair Tool (Single Player only).

The Repair Tool is a special item that can be used to repair broken vehicles. When used to an enemy, it will light them on fire. Just kill one enemy using it to unlock the achievement.

Toxophilite 10G

Kill a target from 70m or more with the bow (Single Player only).

The Recurve Bow is available for $925 under Specials at the store or you can get it free by reactivating radio towers. You can even upgrade it to extend its range. You may want to do this on Wanted enemies or Outpost guards since most of them just stay stationary, giving you more than enough time to position yourself and get a nice, clean shot.

Here We Come 20G

Co-op games can be played online or offline (splitscreen). To unlock the achievement, you have to start the mission from the menu; you can't join a game in progress.
