If you play as ada,you get the most suckest weapons ever.but if you improvise,you can either shoot someone in the knees or the face and they will flinch(do it with the punisher)and while they`re flinching,you can fan kick them to save some ammo.(NOTE:this only works best if you do it in ada`s mission,not the mercenaries thing)

When you fight the bugs for a few seconds after they turn invisible their 3 eyes glow so it would be better to shoot them then

First unlock mercenaries and assignment ada beat mercenaries and unlock the handcannon buy that and fully tune it up next unlock the chicago typewriter get enough money to buy it finally collect everything you can and buy the infinite launcher it would also help to have 2 of every granade and a health can

Enter the room and after the salazaar tranformation cutscene move to the far right and shoot the arm coming out of the wall with the shotgun or tmp, then the arm will disappear for few seconds, this allows you to literally stand in one spot and attack salazaar at your own leisure.

If you want to save ammo or are really low on ammo you can use your knife. Or you can melee them when they get close but it only distracts them.

You can get this cutscene when you are in the house with luis and gandos are breaking in - SPOILER BELOW -

Knife or shoot luis about 6 times and you will get a cutscene were luis says, "adios leon", and shoots him in the chest and kills him, he'll be breathing deep, be aware this obviously gets you a game over

When you enter the room where you fight the two El Gigantes (EGs for short) and you use the lever trick(get one of the EGs on the platform in the center and pull the lever to make it fall in the lava.), kill the other EG then leave the room. If you go back into that room again the money for the EG that fell in the lava will be there just look around where it fell.

For those of you that don't know this,this is prety cool.Ok,when you start a new game,wait till you get to the village.Run into the house with fence around it if you want.Theres a tower on the other side of the village from where you entered.Go there,climb up the ladder and wait like 10 seconds.I don't know why they can't climb the ladder but instead they throw molotove cocktails at you through the window!

Handgun: always carry a handgun in case of any ammunition loss

RED9: powerful, but has slower reloading than the other pistols

Punisher: weak but you can blast a hole through two enemies with it, shoot ten blue medallions to get it for free off the merchant

Blacktail: a pretty good pistol which has the quickest aiming

Matilda: once you have this you can sell your TMP minigun as it shoots 9mm bullets with three rapid fire rounds, you must complete the game to unlock it and it's exclusive ability is to have 100 ammo

Somewhere in Chapter 4-2, you'll need to fight 2 Gigantes. If you still don't have a Handcannon or Chicago Typewriter, the easiest way to kill them without opening the floor is: take out a flash Gernade, throw it to them as they go out. Then get some distance and throw a hand gernade. Start shooting them with the Striker, when they get too close, go to the platform where the slide thing is and shoot the m until they get too close. The Gigante will try to knock you down, but quickly press A and you will slide. Keep shooting them until you get the parasite to comes out of one of their backs, get a magnum gun and shoot it until the Gigante gets up or the second one is too close. When that happens, go back to the slide machine and shoot until they try to shake you down. Do that repeadely until they both die. If you need to reload, do the same thing but when you slide, you reload instead of shooting. This takes patience and alot of bullets.

Ever wanted to be one of those guys who activates a bomb from a distance, by shooting off your gun, well now you can, in fact you could have done it a long time ago if you thought about it hard enough.

Its as simple as using a mine dart and any conventional bullet powered weapon. Simply aim to a target, fire, then quickly swap guns, aim and fire. Kablam! Not only are you dealing explosion damage, but you are also dealing damage from the weapon you fired. So it almost always causes the thing you are exploding to splatter all over the place. It is very satisfying. Though I wouldn't recommend it on the fast-walking ganados. They get too close and in professional mode it can almost ensure a painful death.

Ok, I'm tired of hearing people whine about how hard this game is, it is one of the easiest games ever made. You all whine about there not being any ammo so I'm here to help. First off, make sure you always have a handgun, ammo is best found for this, upgrade the handgun you have as much as possible. After you get to the first village spot don't go in any of the houses till after the bell rings and they all leave, then the house with the fence in the front has a shotgun up the stairs, grab it, but don't use it at all. In this next spot of the village there are blue medallions, make sure you get every single one of them in this area. When you get the merchant for the first time, sell the shotgun and all your shotgun ammo, upgrade your pistol as much as possible, don't buy any guns, stick with only your handgun, the next place is easy with it. The next time you get to the merchant he will have a punisher, don't buy it. In this next area are more blue medallions, after you get all of them in this are, run back to the merchant and get the free punisher, then sell it, the punisher is just an all over crappy weapon. Now, the Punisher should of sold for about 15,000, so buy a shotgun now and use the rest of your money to upgrade it's ammo. Now, you should be good for quite a while, but the first chance you get, sell your existing shotgun and buy the Riot Gun, it's the best shotgun to have, the striker is better, but the Riot Gun is so much cheaper to upgrade.

Run up to a close group of villagers, slash them with the knife, kick them, and repeatedly slash them while they're down.

This isn't really a cheat, but you can make the villagers dance by shooting (with the pistol) the left arm then the right arm then the left leg and finally the right leg.You can alternate the pattern if you want,have fun!

This works with all weapons that can have an upgraded capacity. After you run out of ammo when firing a weapon DON'T reload (if you have any spare ammo). Instead, make sure you have enough money to upgrade the weapon's capacity. When you encounter the next Merchant upgrade the capacity for that weapon. The weapon will not only have an increased capacity, but you would have had it completely topped up with ammo. So you get extra ammo when you upgrade the capacity. This is very helpful on the Professional difficulty stetting.

Get a broken butterfly, and customize it all the way including exclusize then shoot his eye thingy then shoot his body a couple of timesand he should die if not repeat pattern

Get a broken butterfly and custumize it all the way in cluding exlusive, then hit saddler twice with the crane thingy then hit his knee with the broken buterfly, then his eye, then hit his knee again then shoot a rocket launcher (regular or the special one ) and saddler dies

I don't know what to call this, a cheat or a glitch, and I don't know whether you know this or not, but walk up to a merchant. Do whatever you want to do, buy or sell, or tune up your weapons. Then press B at the merchant's menu, but before the merchant closes his coat, shoot him. His coat will still be open as he dies.

P.S. This only works if the merchant opens his coat when you talk to him.

Hey you need to save some ammo, you have no ammo. Well use your knife and hit a zombie in the head then go towards him and kick the zombie.did you waste any ammo?

Here are a list of the bosses and the quickest way you can beat them:-

Del Lago: No strategy other than the normal one.

El Gigante: Rocket Launcher.

Chief Bitores Mendez: Two or three Rocket Launcher blasts should do the trick, so unless you have an Infinite Launcher, you can only use one to speed things up.

Garrador (blind guy with metal claws): Hit him with a Rocket Launcher. Salazar's Assistant: Freeze him using the canisters and then use a Rocket Launcher.

El Gigantes: Trap one of them in the lava and use a Rocket Launcher on the other or (if you can) trap both of them in the lava.

Ramon Salazar: Shoot the big eye on the large head until his weak spot (which is actually Ramon Salazar's main body) opens up and use a Rocket Launcher.

IT: For the first part in the crate maze you cannot kill him. On the second part around the stone pillar use a Rocket Launcher and then shoot him with a Magnum a couple of times.

Jack Krauser: For the first part when he's chasing you around the ruins, use your knife and he'll escape each little fight quicker (he uses a Flash Grenade and disappears). For the second part when he transforms his arm, you can use a Rocket Launcher but it'll never be a one hit kill. Use your Magnum (Broken Butterfly or Killer7) on his legs and kinfe his upper body (which was previously protected by his arm) when he lowers his defences. Repeat.

Lord Osmund Saddler: Pack a Rocket Launcher and keep shooting the funny looking eyes on his knees. When the eye in his mouth becomes vulnerable, use the Rocket Launcher. Ada Wong will give you the Rocket Launcher (Special) right after this instead of you having to keep fighting him for a long period of time. When she does, use it on him and make sure you miss because otherwise you're dead.

Here are a list of treasures you can combine with each other to sell them for more than you could get for them individually:

Beerstein + Red Catseye + Green Catseye + Yellow Catseye = 20,000 pasentas.

Elegent Mask + Red Gem + Purple Gem + Green Gem = 30,000 pasentas (I think, not entirely sure about this one)

Butterfly Lamp + Red Eye + Green Eye + Blue Eye = 32,000 pasentas.

Crown + Crown Jewel + Royal Insignia = Salazar Family Crown = 48,000 pasentas.

Golden Lynx + Red Stone of Faith + Green Stone of Judgement + Blue Stone of treason = 40,000 pasentas.

Important notes:-

The Crown Jewel can only be obtained by killing Salazar's Assisstant in the sewers.

You can find two Butterfly Lamps and at least two of each colour eyes.

You can find two Elegant Masks (one in the Village and on in the Castle) but you can only find one of each gem.

These are all the treasures that combine, there are no others.

After beating the game you get an infiinent rocket launcher.

P.S.the red9 rules.

I' ve done this before these are other scenes I have discovered but some I do not know the location.

1. If Ashley needs you to catch her while she jumps down a ladder or is climbing up one if you toggle the camera angle up her skirt she will call you a perve.

2. In the village cheif's house where you find the insignia key and the note on the bed walk out the door by the bed there will be a cutscene then walk back inside and ms. Wong will aid you in another cutscene once again starring the cheif.

3.At the lake monster place by the dock shoot the water with a shotgun you will hear a rumble keep doing this and there will be a cutscene. NOTE: Do NOT do this if you haven't saved you game in the house yet !!!

Don't listen to those people who say that it taes alot of damage to krauser if you knife his head youll be dead before you do that but on the part that he turns into a plaga or whatever shot his legs and knife his face clean off but other times use a shotgun or a bb also on the part where he is on the other side use the rifle to shot him then he will run towards you then blow his face off kay

At the beginning of your second playthrough sell everything you have and buy the matilda along with the tmp. During the second playthrough when you run out of immediate ammo for one then quikly switch to the next to kill alot faster. Or just buy the Chicago typewriter ( but the other one is still a challenge even though it's really fun)

On your first time round this is extremely difficult unless you know what your doing.

First make sure you have a powerful gun a broken butterfly to get this without paying the merchant as soon as you get ashley in the castle head back past the bit where you met ada and carry on heading back through the door.... walk forward to the fountian and turn left then check the door send ashley in then open the big chest the broken butterfly will be in that this will only have it in if you don't have the broken butterfly!!

Then when your just about to face salazar talk to the merchant and get a rocket launcher if not upgrade the rifle whichever one you have then go through the door after the cutscene shoot the eye on the thing infront of you.

Pull out the rocket launcher or the rifle and take aim if done right you should beat salazar with if you hit him with the rocket launcher people with the rifle shoot the thing on his shoulder and just repeat you WILL do it.
