First off...these dudes hate noises so they attack where the noise came from. Man these dudes are really dumb...well anyways...I use this:
Prison Garrador:
Ashley needs to come with you since you're using her as bait.Use the wait/follow me command as quickly as you can so he would say: waitfollowme so the Garrador will attack there. Walk somewhere where he wont get you with his claw attack.once hes stuck at the wall shoot him with the sniper or any other powerful weapon you've got.do all the steps above until hes dead and you'll end up with 15,000 PTA's
Mess Hall Garrador:
Once you're trapped inside the cage...shoot the locks until they break but stay away as far as possible from this dude.exit the cage and kill all the Zealots while dodging the Garrador.go to the mess hall and shoot the Garrador.there...he will attack the wall.Shoot the parasite on the back with the sniper until he dies.
Twin Garradors:
The best way to kill these dudes is to get a Powerful Rocket launcher(30,000 PTA's W/ Merchant)shoot the rocket launcher at the door on the opposite side of the room and it WILL kill one of them+Severely hurting one of them.the severely hurt Garrador will come and attack you so walk to the side and shoot him with a powerful weapon until he dies.you should get the rocket launcher money back and gt some spinels from the statues on the other room.
These strategies work for all the consoles and it worked for me so good luck with the garrdors!
[EDIT] a WONDERFUL guest gave me some important advise!
before rescuing ashley from the trap, you should've walked past a locked door that said to open it you need to get help from "someone". as soon as ashley is rescued(after Louis' death) go back to that part of the map and get the broken butterfly along with all the treasure you find in there. this should help with the TWIN garradors if you cant afford to buy a rocket launcher on round 1 of the game.
Here's something I thought would be a little fun to try out...
In Chapter 1-3, as you are heading off to fight Del Lago, head onto the dock where the boat is moored, but don't get onto the boat. Instead, get out any weapon and start shooting into the lake. After shooting enough times, Del Lago will emerge and devour Leon, along with half the dock.
If you knew that already, here's something I bet you didn't know. It's a glitch caused by triggering the same cut-scene. Fire into the lake, but don't do it from the dock. Shoot from further away. When Del Lago emerges to eat you, he will only eat the dock, as you are not standing on it. However, the game will count it as a death, and you will see the 'You Died' message, despite the fact that you can actually hear Leon getting up. Weird, eh?
You can obtain several weapons in this game for free. Here I will list the locations of these weapons:
Handgun - Automatically available from the start of the game.
Shotgun - Found in the house that triggers the villager attack cut-scene in the village in 1-1. It is in the upstairs bedroom, hoisted on the wall. However, on the Easy difficulty, it is automatically available from the start of the game, like the Handgun.
Punisher - Shoot 10 of the 15 Blue Medallions around the village and cemetery. The Merchant will give you this gun for free the next time you see him. If you shoot all 15 of the Blue Medallions, you'll also get a free Firepower upgrade for the gun.
Rocket Launcher - Found towards the end of 3-3, in the large room with the bridge crossing it. Cross the bridge, but instead of going through the door at the opposite end, turn left and head down the passageway in this direction. In the middle of this large room, there is a glass cabinet filled with ammo and, of course, a free Rocket Launcher. Beware, as there are Zealots lurking in this room.
Broken Butterfly - In 3-2, Leon will pass by a locked door with a high window that he mentions he may be able to get into with the help of another person. Backtrack to this area in 4-1 when Ashley has rejoined you. Leon will give her a boost up to the window, and she will climb into the room and unlock the door. Inside the chest in this room is a free Broken Butterfly, which is well worth getting considering how expensive this excellent gun is to purchase. There are also several other goodies in this room.
Rocket Launcher (Special) - Given to you by Ada in the final battle against Saddler, once you have damaged him enough. You can only use it against Saddler.
Buy a rocket launcher from the merchant then a rifle and go to salazar.take your rifle and shoot him in his eyes.it may take 2 or 3 bullets.then he will be stunned opening shield that covers salazar.take a rocket launcher and shoot it at his body.after that salazar will be killed
Before fighting saddler go to the merchant and buy a rocket launcher , after buying go up through the elevator which leads to a battle with saddler , after saddler transforms, you run passing him and go to the end where a ladder can be seen , climb up then it will show operate wait for saddler to come near you , once he comes you activate it , then a rods of iron hits saddler , then he will be stunned , this is the chance, now quickly get down and equip the rocket launcher and fire in his eyes , Ada will throw a special rocket launcher use it and saddler will go boom , due to this you use only use one bullet to kill saddler ( without including the special rocket launcher )
Resident Evil 4, like the other games in the series, features three different types of healing herb, which can be combined in numerous ways. However, due to the removal of the Poison status from the game, the Blue herb is replaced by the Yellow. The chart below lists all possible combinations and the effects of herbs when used:
Green - Restores a small amount of health
Green + Green - Restores a large amount of health
Green + Green + Green - Fully restores health
Red - Cannot be used alone
Yellow - Cannot be used alone
Green + Red - Fully restores health
Green + Yellow - Restores a small amount of health and adds an extra 5 percent to total health
Green + Green + Yellow - Restores a large amount of health and adds an extra 5 percent to total health
Green + Red + Yellow - Fully restores health and adds an extra 5 percent to total health
Note - You cannot combine more than three herbs together at any one time. It is impossible to combine three Green herbs and a Yellow, for example.
Note 2 - Yellow herbs are useless when you have completely maxed out your health bars. However, there are precisely enough in the game to max out both yours and Ashley's health bars by the end of the game.
Note 3 - White Chicken Eggs restore a small amount of health, Brown Chicken Eggs restore a large amount of health and Gold Chicken Eggs fully restore health. Also, First Aid Sprays fully restore healt
Throughout the game of Resident evil 4 you will come across many different animals including hawks, chickens, snakes, fish, cows and many others, you may not know that they drop some great items. If you ever see a hawk shoot them for ammo, and money. If you come across a chicken they will drop eggs if you shoot them or just follow them around. If you find a snake stab/shoot it and it will drop an egg. And if you come across a fish in the water stab/shoot it and it will replenish health the large one will also sell for 2500 PTS and the small fish for 500 PTS but the fish also take up alot of inventory space. I do not think that cows drop anything. If I find more animal droppers I will post them here.
When your in the farm and you go around back there should be a pocket watch hanging over a well of slop. Shoot the lid and it will shut (with the shotgun) then shoot the watch.
