Alright how do I do manual mode if I hit up and down fast but it wont work

You don't have to do it super fast just don't stop, if you have a gap between pressing up and down it wont work but you go too fast and it is too fast for the game to read and nothing happens just press up then down or opposite for nose manual, and do it calm or you can ollie and do it.
