Ok I'm in the forest temple how do I find the white monkey with the boomerang and where do I go after I save the monkey because now I have two monkeys following me?

Go to other accessible places so you have a total of four monkeys saved. Go then to the bridge that was broken, and your posse will make it so you can go over. Voila! Now you fight said baboon with boomerang and take it from him.
You can do it.

If you go to a certain spot the white monkey (actually a Bamboo) cuts a bridge and then you need four monkeys to pass it. Get the rest of the monkeys by looking around, you'll find them I know it. Once you get the gale boomerang, go to the middle of that room near the begining where the spider always drops down and throw the boomerang at the web holding up the chest. It falls and inside is the compass, and now the monkeys will be red dots.
