Date of Question: Aug 11 2009 | Question ID: 145152 Im walking through upper zora river by the shop close to the fishing hole and shadow beasts drop down. There is a woman standing there watching so I can't turn into a wolf. Is there something I can do or do I need to restart? |
You will have to revert to a save and run into the zone as a wolf.

You can kill the shadow beasts with your sword, you don't need to transform into a wolf.
They are tough, so you may need to use some of the special moves you've learnt.

Nope. You don't have to fight the Shadow Beasts as Wolf Link. Use the Sword Spin technique to deal with two. But take out one that is alone first. Just do that or the remaining one will summon the others back to life.

Just corner only ONE of the shadow beasts and kill it with your sword, and then kill the other two at the same time with a spin attack. Or two spin attacks, until they're dead.

This sounds More complicated than it is, Just tap B till you kill one, and get the other 2 to attack you, Then charge your spin attack then release, should kill both of them making the portal apear
