Date of Question: Dec 14 2008 | Question ID: 134472 I've gone through the whole water temple and got the clawshot and now I'm fighting the boss. I keep trying to get it with the clawshot but I can't ever get close enough and the monster kees knocking me over on the pillars. I could really use some help on beating this thing!! |

Get above him and then use your heavy boots to drop down close enough to L target him and fire the clawshot. Once you hook him take out your sword and hit the eye. Do this a few times and he will be yours. It takes a little practice putting on and taking off the boots to get you into range but you can do it... Oldtoad

I just took off the boots and targeted the eye. Then when you swim you'll swim parallel to him no matter where he turns. Just make sure to stay away from his mouth and wait for your chance to hookshot when he gets close. From my experience this is the easiest method if you do it right.
