Date of Question: Oct 24 2008 | Question ID: 131671 I'm stuck on the Goron cave because my shield burned up. The shield I got from the hot springs burned too. I know I'm supposed to get the Hylian Shield from Malo Mart, but the building with Malo's face over it is locked! How do I get in to buy my shield??? (Yes I have 200 rupees). If it helps: it's nighttime, I repeatedly attack birds that swoop down on me and I have an headache from all this. Please help! |
It is possible to do most of the game without a shield as I have done that 2 or 3 times now but if you really want it then it has to be daytime to be able to enter the Malo mart

You can always go to the hot spring shop in death mountain to get a new sheild if you have the occoo

I still don't understand how you guys can burn the sheilds. You have to wait untill it's daytime, and even then, I'm not sure you can get the hylian sheild until you beat the goron's.
Then you get bombs and the hawkeye.
