Hey guys I was wondering does shadow remember about Maria(the 1 he made a promise to in sonic adventure 2 and shadow the hedgehog) but I am not sure about this game.

No he does not, this is a slightly different game, branched away from the storyline of the game, this is a stand alone project you could say. I had it for a while, and though I do not play sonic much anymore, I really enjoyed it, it was a new way too play, and it was fun. If you are not sure, rent the game first, and then decide whether or not you want to buy it.
