The dinosaur guys?!?

I think you mean the Grenchlers - they're like the Sheegoths in the 1st Metroid Prime...
You need to shoot them in the back...

They only have 2 attacks - running/charging at you and an attack from its mouth - just try and attack from a distance to avoid their attacks and not get hit OR DOUBLE JUMP IT AND ATTACK IT FROM ITS BACK SIDE!!!

They are called Granchlers.

If you had scanned them in the first place with your Scan Visor, you'd know that you have to dodge around them and blast their backsides with Missles or your beam to kill them.

Use the darkbeam

These are acctually quite simple. 1. Lock on and orbit around one of them

2. Charge up your dark beam

3. He will be frozen so just attack him with anything you got. Missiles work best.

4. Repeat to kick so tushy

Just double jump over it when it charges at you and blow it's butt off with missles, it will be a puddle in no time.
