Question for Metroid Prime 2: Echoes

I'm in the trooper security station tryin to get to the gfmc compound and it says that I have to use heavy explosives but every thing I try it doesnt work. What do I have to do to open the gate.

In the Trooper Security Station - there should be 3 Splinters on the ground - kill them - **then roll through the tunnel on the right hand side of the gate**. Scan the Trooper to the right of the terminal - then scan the terminal to activate the gate! Roll back through the tunnel - under the gate and then head to the GFMC Compound!

If you're talking about at the start of the game, there should be something to scan nearby. Look for Morph Ball tunnels. Later in the game, you can Power Bomb the gates.

Hi,

I'm having the same problem. I've already been through the gate in the Trooper Security Station but somehow made my way back out but now I can't get back in which means I can't get to the GFMC compound.

Any help would be appreciated.
