You talk to him - if I recall correctly, you should have a threatening conversation.

U have to threaten him then he will move over to the side; but then later on when you need him to lift the metal from the chop shop will will need to have a friendly conversation with him to get him to help move it for you in the next episode.......

Have a Intimidate Convo with him so that he will move to the other side if you can beat him in the intimidate convo. You will help Jimmy to his errand
