Problem with Bruno...

Ok, so, I'm having a difficult time with the Elite Four. I have not once beat them, except for Loreli, a good few times. But no matter what, I end up getting beat by Bruno by his Last Onix, just so easily. One hit KO. How? I have NO strong Pokemon to beat 'em, and I can't find a good place to lvl up. Anywhere just takes days and days. I work, so I don't have much time, and No, I don't use cheats. And Never will since that'll take time to get all the stuff for it. Anywho, my strongest Pokemon are,

Charizard lvl 57
Articuno lvl 50
Zapdos lvl 50
Raichu lvl 56
Arbok lvl 49

Anything else is just plain weak.

I understand that Burno takes Water to Defeat, but I'm working on Tentacruel, with Exp. Share, and I'm fighting Loreli to get the Exp, but even that takes forever...

What can I do? Islands one-three aren't helping either..

Ok, what you're main problem is with him is that all your Pokemon are weak to ground and/or rock... I would mainly suggest getting like a grass (Victreebell or Vileplume) or a water (Poliwhirl or if you can Vaporeon)... And you're going to have that problem again with Tentacruel... Hes part poison which is bad to ground and he doesnt move fast enough to get them in one hit... For the training, I would get your Articuno or something and use it to lvl up in Victory Road... Anything your strong against in an area where you can kill them in one hit will do... Good luck..... And keep articuno alive for the 4th Elite Four...anyways... Good luck

Another tip would be to get the VS Seeker in the vermillion city Pokemon centre. With this if you don't have it you can go back and take on other trainers you have played already and they are generally stronger than the first time around

steelersrock01 answered:

Level your Pokemon up to 55 or 60. Use a fighting type for Brunos onix, and use Articuno for Lance, the Dragon guy.
Use the VS Seeker on Cycling Road near the gang, and you'll get good EXP. Also use EXP Share.

Catch a Mewtwo by using a masterball when you beat team rockets boss on the 11th floor keep that masterball till you get to the man standing infront of the cave near cearlean city
