I found out this trick on another cite. If you have five Meowths place them in your party with one strong Pokemon at the beginning of each party. Then battle in the wild and check your Pokemon and the Meowths will be holding berries, TM's, nuggets, and rare candies. There is only about a 30% chance of getting rare candies though. This does work didn't believe it until I tried it.

You can't do the rare candy cheat in this game. Sorry. Can't really rate your team without their move sets but it sounds pretty cool.

Arcanine doesn't learn anymore fire moves. You'll have to use a TM or something. However, it learns extremespeed, a normal-type attack, at level 49. No you can't battle prof oak.

By the looks of you're team it is a very diverse range. I would be exelent in the e4 as long as you teach garados some ice moves (for Lance)

Without movesets I can't really see how brilliant you're team is but nonetheless;
8/10

Post it on the Pokedex with movesets and stats.

Oh, a lot of questions...I like that Smile Allow me the honor of helping you out...

Unfortunately, there is no rare candy cheat in Pokemon Fire Red, or Pokemon Leaf Green. Since this is also the upgraded version of the older Pokemon games, the Missingno glitch, as well as the item cloning glitch have been removed. That means that there is no way for you, or anyone else to get a bunch of Rare Candies. Rare candies are not great in large quantities though. In other words, that means that you should not give your Pokemon a lot of Rare Candies because it actually makes them weaker than they normally would be.

2: Like I said above, there are not any glitches or cheats left in the game, so you are out of luck. You can however, buy an Action Replay, or a Gameshark and use the codes on there.

3: I say your team sounds pretty good. I say sounds good because it is kinda hard to rate a team when you did not tell us the moves that each Pokemon knows, nor the level that each Pokemon is on. Still, it sounds like a great team, and points to you for having a Snorlax, they are extremely powerful. However, you may want to switch out Jolteon for a stronger electric Pokemon such as Electrode, or Zapdos. Both of which can be found in the Powerplant near Cerulean City.

4: Sad to say that Arcanine does not learn anymore fire moves, strange enough. If you want him to learn more fire moves you will have to teach him some TM's. A good one would be Fire blast. You can get the TM containing the move Fire Blast from Blaine, the seventh gym leader, after you defeat him on Cinnabar Island.

5: Really rare pokemon? Hmm...I would say the Cerulean City cave. Because inside that very cave, you can find Pokemon such as Raichu, Rhydon, Kadabra, Chancy, Hypno, Mewtwo, and other rare pokemon. The only problem is that the Pokemon are on very high levels so you can only enter the cave after you beat the Elite Four. 6: No, you cannot battle Professor Oak. That would be extremely cool, no doubt about it. But you cannot battle Professor Oak in any Pokemon game, besides he said that he gave up Pokemon battling a while ago.

Hope this helps. Smile

I will only rate your team, but it woul have been better if you could give level and attack.

Arcanaine is a very good fire Pokemon, no doubt, but it does not learn too many fire moves, but you can use a TM for that.

Gyrados!(ah! Nice Choice), but teach it an ice attack and it'll be great.

Jolteon is pretty good, but raichu/electabuzz is better. You could have made eevee vaporeon instead of jolteon, coz it's a good water Pokemon and knows ice attack, but it's a good thing you have gyrados to replace it.

Pidgeot is pretty good, but it'll be best if level 50 over.

Snorlax is very powerful and in my opinion, a great choice.

Venasaur is good if level is 80 or above, but I would prefer Charizard instead(Sorry! I never really liked grass-type Pokemon much).
