Thinking Of Getting The Game
I was thinking of buying this game because all of the reviews say it is great. But when you first start the game, can you catch the new Pokemon like Sentret? Or do you have to beat the Pokemon League before you get the new Pokemon?

In the begin you can't catch Pokemon like sentret you can do dat after you defeat the elite 4

You catch the new Pokemon on the Sevii Islands the first 3 are available either just before or just after you beat the Cinnabar Island gym. I think the other 4 are available after you defeat the elite 4

It's just Kanto Pokemon then once you defeat the Elite Four you have to see at least catch 80 pokemon. (I think) Then you see oak then he gives you the national dex now you can see jhoto pokemon. I hoped this helped
